You simply said a teams schedule matters when it comes to the quality of the team. Its wrong. Look at the team itself. Have a football knowledge. An eye for talent

This is true. People seem to discount that Clemson has a ton of speed on both offense and defense.

Clemson has the players to execute what Gus Malzahn tried to do in the IronBowl. Go back and watch the highlights of that game and see all the receivers running free. Clemson can also attack the C gap with the run game.

This game will be close. I think Vernibles can outcoach Kiffen to keep the game in hand.

Go back and look at the "new" plays/routes that we used against MSU. Truth is, very few. All season long, we have not deviated much from our standard plays and routes. So much more in the book that hasn't been shown all year because we didn't need it.

Expect to see some formations and play calls that have not hit the tapes yet........

Clemson is a good team, and Bama will have to play clean to secure a victory.

Remember that other time y'all came close to beating a title contending bama squad... It did not save the other UT from being violated.

No, I said that winning every game (i.e. being undefeated) isn't about how good a team you are (i.e. it's not an objective standard.) It (i.e. winning every game) is about how good you are relative to your schedule (i.e. the competition you defeat is a necessary ancillary data point when measuring your team's worth in terms of whether they won every game.) Do you need me to quote the exact post that started this conversation? It's not hard -- just click my name and look at my recent posts. Here, I'll help:

I made no disparaging comments about Clemson or the quality of the team whatsoever. I addressed your faulty method of measurement. If you want to switch to the eye test, go for it. You're the one who wanted to use the outcome of games as a metric in the first place. Not sure why you're blaming me for your choice.

Please show me where any Gamecock, anywhere, has ever claimed this.

We still, in a self-deprecating manner, freely refer to our 0-21 streak.

We are not about delusion and smoke and mirrors. We are hopeful that Muschamp has learned from past mistakes and we know, without a single question about it, that we now have the best coaching staff with regards to our recruiting ability in the history of our program.

The rest only time will tell.

The past is not a definitive predictor of the future.

You mean didn't they almost take it to within two scores? Yeah almost. Hopefully Clemson can match the same standard.

If Deshaun Watson went down to injury like Mccoy there is no doubt in my mind Clemson would get violated. Feel free to address any of the points I actually made, or not. I'd rather not argue on the side of clemson anyway.

Yes, I know it doesn't mean anything like you said. That's what I've been arguing all along.

Ah, man, sometimes there's nothing to be done for certain people but sit back and chuckle. You have a good evening and hopefully time will bring you insight.

No pressure on Watson- this whole game is on his shoulders if they want to stay close. UA has gotten better and more depth as the year has progressed. If Coker plays well- no chance for Clemson.
