A few days back, I made a post stating that I would not pull for Bama and not give in to the overwhelming conference unity during bowl season. I have since realized that I may have been speaking through envy. Watching the SEC domination of the bowls has truly brought a sense of pride out in me. I truly enjoyed watching Bama's complete team roll sparty. Roll tide and bear clemson. I sincerely hope to see Bama holding up another trophy. this LSU fan will be pulling for yall.

The SEC needs Bama to win. It helps all of our recruiting whenever the SEC is seen as the top conference. National prestige is everything. We can't let urban Meyer and the big rise, or the qcc or the pac 12.

I'm not even watching the game. I respect BAMA but i don't like them nor pull for them. They will skullfrick Clemson & I don't care.

I always pull for SEC teams when we aren't playing each other.
Certainly conference pride is a major factor as to why, but along with that is the fact that it truly, completely and utterly confounds the other conferences that this "unity" exists among us.
Not only do they not understand it, but it also seems to royally piss them the hell off. That, alone, is enough reason to support each other in my opinion. It's hilarious watching them get insanely worked up like they do.
Equally amusing is how they watch us bash the shite out of each other with the trash talk, but when they try to do the same, they're usually met with a "We can do it, but you cannot" type of attitude. For the fans of teams outside of the SEC that I personally know, that is absolutely one of the main things they admit to not understanding.

the National hate is enough for me to be an "SEC" guy during bowl season. I'd prefer ole miss lose being a die hard bulldog but I was too hungover to even give a shite yesterday. it really just added to the dominance and all the talking heads can't say shite for a while. in a "down year" the west held court.
the east sucks but I never thought of the west as "down" this year as much as it was just buncha good teams.stick any CFP team in there and it's hard to come out alive. hats of to alabama.
