I had a great time with family and friends at the game. It was my first trip to the Gray Lady, I didn't hate it. We were sitting in section 16 under the roof.
The trip to the stadium was a nightmare. Traffic was awful and Bham closed random streets for no reason. Plus people kept trying to sell parking on the street they did not own. I got to park a block away from the stadium for free.
Overall it was a great time for us. What a our you?

I watched it at the hospital because I had to work.

I wasn't there, but as long as you don't get into the parking scam, it was always okay back when the Iron Bowl was there. Plus, you could buy some fine rib sammiches from the residents. Of course I was usually likkered up back in the day, but I always survived

I enjoyed the DC melts before the game started and then go into full strength after the announcement.
Auburn won and I was entertained.

I heard UAB/Bham will be building a stadium next to uptown. If true, the Bham bowl would be a decent location for a bowl.

We had a great time. Me, my brothers, and two of our best friends all went to the game. We all five grew up going to Legion Field together. This time we were all there with the kids. It was nostalgic and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
My brothers got there early and tailgated. They didn't have any issues parking or getting there. My wife and I slept in and headed out at 9AM. We took the bus from the Sheraton. The wait was long (about 30mins), but the ride was short (less than 10mins). The concessions were good. The crowd was good. The Memphis folks were nice. I was disappointed with the band and the cheerleaders. We sat in the rain in section 31 and I don't remember ever hearing the band at all.
If I had to do it over again, we would stay at the Sheraton the night of the game and take the bus to and from Legion Field. The Bham Bowl must draw a lot of visitors. The places even out on 280 were crowded for dinner.

I watched from my couch. Lights were fairly dim. As usual, curtains pulled back and my yeti resting on the end table. After I drank about three beers I beckoned for a sandwich, and of course my lovely wife brought me two. Once the sandwiches hit the spot, I went back to drinking a couple more ultra lights. Alas, after the clock struck zero, and after my beloved Auburn Tigers had won the game, I had to give up my remote and my beer and go back to diaper duty.

Must be nice. I left Alabaster about 8:30 and stopped for breakfast. Got to inerstate in Homewood about 9:15 and took the streets because traffic was already bad. Took me until about 10:30 to reach the stadium.
Plus while I was driving some jackals in a Sequoia drove the wrong up the street then cut me off. Had I not had children with me, it would have been a major issue.

I'm not able to go to many games in Auburn so I was excited to see the game. Traffic wasn't too bad since I went side streets. Legion Field looked better then expected. Fans were civil on both sides and saw several Alabama fans that smartly kept their mouths shut. Grabbed some ribs from the Smoking Joe's food truck on the way out...that was worth the trip itself.
Had great seats in section 36 row 8 behind the Auburn bench. I hung on the fence before and after the game high-fiving players like a 10 year old.
I would definitely go back, but I hope I never get the chance.
Loved seeing Tommy having fun with fans during warm ups.

I was at my brother's house in metro Bham.
I decided the weather forecast was not good enough for me and my son(actually he would go in a tornado) to attend in person.
I thought the game demonstrated the difference between a talented team who played very well for most of the game versus a team that pulled a big upset early and beat some mediocre teams because they had a QB who made plays most of the season.

Left Atlanta about 8 am and didn't hit any traffic on my way to 20 via 285. Met my dad at some random Walmart to ride to the game together. Birmingham made getting to the stafium quite difficult at times. We paid some guy ten bucks to park in the street so maybe he wouldn't break into it.
We walked about a half mile or so to the stadium got our tickets and proceeded to find our assigned seats. Finding out seats was very difficult because all of the numbers and rows in our section were rubbed off or nearly impossible to see. I've never been to a shittier stadium in my life. Auburn won. Drove back to Atlanta.

I carried all of my older grandchildren. They have never been able to go see Auburn play until this opportunity. We had general admission seats and sat under an awning out of the rain, above the Memphis band. WE parked at B'ham Southern for $10 and were out in a flash. The game was exciting as well. I was pleasantly surprised to see our offense and defense play very well. Overall, it was a great experience.

I don't see how anybody could downvote my exhilarating Birmingham Bowl experience.

Thanks for keeping the wave going so we could keep booing the Memphis fans. That was fun.

Watched from the house......no fire, no drinks and most of the game was on delay. Usually watch with my wife and request flashes after ever AU score (yeah I am a redneck). This game I watched with my granddaughter and the only skin I saw was when I changed a shitty diaper. Happy for the team and especially the defense but NEVER want to view a game in this fashion again. Could have been worse, my son and his wife went to BOA stadium to watch their Wolfpack get destroyed by Miss St in the rain while I watched the oldest grandkid. My wife went and did dog rescue shite (but at least she wore an AU sweatshirt). Maybe the dog people got flashed but I am not sure.
