i remember when, if went down 21-0 in a quarter felt no fear
because we could score that at will. feel free to remember the days where we could still hope in this thread........

it only happened once but what i meant is that, no matter the deficit there was an offense that could remedy it (almost) without worry. Talked to my uncle, who played for the aggies in the late 60's to early 70's and he said at that time we had a team full of "blue chippers" and still did absolutely nothing.

Am i stuck being a fan of a team that only knows how to fail ?!?!?! (with that said know im also drunk n in the middle of melting lol)

At some point we do need to start looking at ourselves. Something inherent within this program seems destined for failure.

Too many Bma's and higher ups who have a hand in things. The entire AD needs to be scrubbed clean and some of the regents gone.

The really horrifying thing is that, since I was a student, I can actually name each instance where we came back from a deficit of 2 or more scores

1997: Trailed Oklahoma State 22-7 at the start of the 4th. Won 28-25 in Overtime.

1998: Trailed Kansas State 27-12 at the start of the 4th. Won 36-33 in Triple Overtime.

1999: Trailed t.u. 16-6 in the 4th. Won 20-16.

2004: Trailed Colorado 19-10 in the 4th. Won 25-22 in overtime.

2006: Trailed Kansas 18-7 in the 4th. Won 21-18.

2007: Trailed Oklahoma State 20-10 in the 4th. Won 24-23.

2010: Trailed FIU 20-6 in the 4th. Won 27-20.

2010: Trailed Baylor 30-21 at halftime. Won 42-30.

2012: Trailed Ole Miss 27-17 in the 4th. Won 30-27.

2013: Trailed Duke 38-17 at the half. Won 52-48.

2014: Trailed Arkansas 28-14 in the 4th. Won 35-28 in overtime.

I was born in '87, my earliest memories are going to games in the mid-90s. I'd say I've been a fan with a truly vested interest since 1997 or so.

Honestly I'm numb to the disappointment at this point. It's the embarrassment that still gets to me. We're pretty much a national joke.

with that you have somehow made my soul hurt...... looking back after all of this would you have rather had johnny with the hope that came after followed by us slowly falling apart or, no johnny(so no delusions of grandeur) but probably would have been rid of sumlin by now?

Honestly there are only a few truly good coaches in the college game, and a number of those aren't at schools that let them legitimately contend for a title every year. Saban and Meyer are the great coaches at great schools. A few guys like Dantonio, Briles, and Patterson are great coaches at not great schools.

That's about it. Every other school that doesn't have one of those coaches (and there are a lot of us) prays that the talent and transient assistant coach lineups combine to make an NC. And that does happen. Sweeney, Mack, Jimbo, hell Chizik are all not great coaches that were able to align the stars in one easy or another and win a title.

We led OU pretty much from the 2nd quarter on in 2002.

We led West Virginia by 11 at the half last year.

Ruling on the field is confirmed
