Useless. Not many ducks down. And, with the rain we're getting, water levels will change radically. Just wait for this cold weather around New Years. Then do your scouting.

Also, the highest MS River ever recorded in January will be here in 3 weeks. Steele Bayou gates will be closed. There's gonna be water everywhere.

Our camp is just north of Steele... Sounds like we need to go get our boats out.

It's too muddy to get the feed trucks around but if it was dry we would feed them. Mostly just keeping the predatory birds off the ponds.

Yea I know I was just bored I actually have a few ducks right now I'm gonna go in the morning. I have one hole with about 20 mallards and 50 gadwalls in it
