What does that say about Saban?
Considering each program's last four recruiting classes it would be an inexcusable loss for the annual recruiting national champs.
In my mind his legacy would take a huge hit, especially after watching Urban and Stoops best him head on the past two years.
Anyone can recruit well at Bama.
I believe Spurrier would be held as the greatest if he had stayed at Florida all this time. His offenses were lethal with top tier talent.

That he has as many titles in the last 6 years at Bama than LSU has in their history (one of which he is responsible for).

Take a moment and look up the word "legacy" in a good dictionary.
Then delete this stupid post.

Butch is coming for your over hyped coach...already made Spurrier quit and was key in Richt being fired this year.

Let me guess, Santa brought you a sack of switches.

He's a vol, thus poor and can't afford gifts on Christmas.

Terrible thread. Who gives a frick if he loses in the CFB playoff? Winning the conference should always be the primary goal. Everything is secondary. Saban's won the SEC the past two years. Alabama's the only team to make the CFB Playoff the past two years. By every measure, his teams have been a rousing success.

How many championships did Spurrier win with all that talent while dominating the SEC?

Spurrier had to compete with annual elite UT and FSU teams....Bama has had LSU thus far....

Terrible pre excuse for losing in the playoffs.

I guess Jones' legacy already took that hit after that classic choke job earlier this year. .

A team with 40 something annual ranked classes has no business making this a close game. Will be hilarious when they win.
