Former Vol and NFL pro bowler Dale Carter barely remembers playing football

I remember this guy kind of being a headcase in the NFL and had a history of domestic assault and substance abuse. This is supposedly his first interview since retiring from the Ravens in 2005 and he seems very distant from the game these days.

And have little to show for it.

His other option was to work as a contractor in a shitty town for money. He picked football. We all make decisions, and usually gamble on more money. Sometimes we lose.

I remember him playing for the Chiefs here in KC. Physically was multi talented, mentally was dumb as a box of rocks.

There was a time back then he was a great CB, one of the true lock down corners in the league. He also returned punts for the Chiefs as I recall, and he was all or nothing, had some spectacular returns. At that time, the Chiefs had one of the best secondaries in football. Dale just couldn't keep his shite together and his welcome here eventually wore out. He was a physical freak though with his speed and talent.

2nd or 3rd in wins, Sec championships, national titles, all Americans, bowl appearances and wins, win pct, and top 25 finishes. Hard to put us lower than 2nd or 3rd. I was talking all time
