He was Blood before he went to prison. A lot of time sect ink is required in prison so loyalty lines are easily distinguished.
Gangs have also gotten smarter about ink and even their colors since the advent of new laws and the easy identification they provide but you're right that in prison, especially if you're a lifer like Hernandez, tattoos being visible can say a lot and very quickly. And yeah, I agree he was a blood long before.
Here's an article on the shift/avoiding easy ID on the outside: LINK /

Wait... so he got the tattoo while in prison?
Does a prison have an in-house tattoo shop? That tattoo looks damn professional...

No, I'
No, I am proposing it is the work of the mind. What you believe and make real in your mind, you will experience as real. Perception is an inward image projected outward, then seen as if it were outside of you. In reality there is no inner or outer, no space and time.
I know very little about the gnostics, but have book marked your link, thanks.
Demiurge is just another illusory entity to blame for what we see here. I'm suggesting that we ourselves did this. Not because we are bad, or evil, because we made a simple mistake, one that made this entire world rise before us.
In time this happened a very very long time ago, in Reality, it never happened at all.

I remember the 5 pointed star meaning Vice Lords in the midwest. 6 pointed was GD's. But I don't think it is patently synonymous with a gang anyways. Is there other links to Bloods or gangs in general, other than him being a killer?

As I have said before, 6'2" and 250 lbs of muscle. Proven that he is willing to murder you just because. Millions of dollars in the bank. Affiliated with hardcore gangs.
This guy is not the easiest target in that prison.

Thanks for explaining your views.
I'm not sure how much I agree (some I agree with a lot but the rest I need to ponder a bit and to come to an informed opinion). In that light I'm bookmarking your post so I can do just that. Your description is certainly an interesting one and while I do believe we suffer greatly from illusions I'm not prepared to say that everything is illusory or mind driven, though illusion seems quite apt for a lot of things we experience and believe. That said, I do agree that we create a great deal of problems through our mind and that perception is influenced by it.
I think you'll enjoy some of the gnostic writings (I believe there's something to learn from just about everything and one of the premises, well of some of the gnostics, is that this world is a trap and an illusion but they cite the demiurge or 'half-creator' as the source of it and the goal is to escape - gnosis itself is to awaken and achieve knowledge). The term gnosis is Greek and means 'to know' among other things.
Heady reading at times but I think you might enjoy some of it. A lot of it finds its conceptual origins in Neo-Platonism so it can be translated to a mind-driven framework if that's you thing.

It's nice to see things are going well for young Aaron :roll eyes:
Seriously how can you duck that opportunity up in life. What a fricking idiot.

Believe it or not, many of these players that come from a childhood of crime greatly benefit from a positive male role model in college. Urban may not be the cause of their problems but he certainly didn't do much to help the players that had issues either
It reminds me of the Rolando McClain situation. He grew up in a rough area, and was known as a thug. He came to Alabama, and became a leader and was known as a film junkie. He got paid, and reverted back to his old ways.
When he hit bottom, what did he do? He came back to Alabama, where he probably had the only positive make role model in his life. Now he had his life back on track.
Saban may come across as an a-hole in the media, because he didn't give a shite about them. But he cares about his players, and they'd run through a wall for him.

Sullivan- I need advice from you like Wall Street needs to know how to frick people out of their hard-earned money. Critical thinking is my forte and you aren't going to change that, homes. And as far as logic, I sure as hell am not going to listen to some crybaby arse gator fans who constantly whine about their former hall of fame coach instead of turning the page and being happy you have a good coach and a hell of a quarterback running your offense. Treon is the real deal. He will be your starter next year. You will learn to love him.

Well as long as I'm entertaining you, I've done my job. This doesn't pertain to you anyway Tider. You see, Sullivan has been a mongoose to my cobra for quite a few episodes and I gotta fight fire with fire. What this board doesn't need is some other fan to come on here and stand in solidarity with some lame arse gator fan. Let them fight their own cyber battles. Alabama has a much bigger prize in mind. No need to play bodyguard for the gators.

No bodyguard here. I've just seen enough douchey comments throughout the board, to where I have no problem calling you on your bullshite myself.
Of course, growing up in Central Florida, to where myself in the unique situation, that I find Gator and Buckeye fans to be equally annoying and obnoxious. Strictly due to in person experience, not message board bullshite.
Though y'all tend to be equally annoying online.

Yes, because the safest thing you can do in a prison is put gang tattoos on your body but not actually be in the gang. The Bloods are very tolerant of people flashing their symbols but then saying, 'nah fellas, i'm not in your gang, i'm an individual'.
If the majority of your posts are trolling, you need to stop because you look like a legit moron.

I didn't read the 5 pages of this POS, but he was a POS in G-VILLE! It was only a matter of time! The only thing that didn't expose that team was Tebow, cuz that's all the mothership talked about!! Urban Mayer is a genius! He will have another heart attack in 6-8 months!

You embarrass yourself and that's saying something because expectations for you are very low.
But, I'll tell you what: Put the allegedly great cognitive skills of yours to the test. Document what UF fans say in their complaints about Meyer. Then find a way to get access to Meyer and confront him with these things in an astute, objective, and determined manner. I guarantee you the responses, the body language, and the outcome of that process will not support one thing that you say on this board in defense of Meyer, and his reactions and answers will all be consistent with deception and untruthfulness.
I know it's going to happen as the AH saga unfolds and I know how it's going to play out as he gets exposed. I'm sure that even you can see how attention on him is inevitable given the AH deal. We UF fans know that the AH deal has set this in motion, so in due time a lot of bad pub UF has gotten for player behavior and so forth during the Meyer era is going to be corrected as people see the problem in Gainesville was Meyer.
Beyond that, his unethical and cowardly behavior deserve no respect from UF fans, and made things tougher for Muschamp and obviously he didn't need any extra challenges. To Muschamp's credit though, one time reporters tried to pry some of this information from him and he said there were issues but he was not going to air that dirty laundry. But he was clearly upset. Just another little nugget that supports what we've been saying about that deal, that you try to ignore.

As this continues to unfold, we are all going to see that Tebow meant more to the success and stability (I use that term in a relative sense, naturally) of the football program than previously thought - which is saying something.
