Sips get a bowl bid at 5-7.
They waited until after all the bowl matchups were announced to accept a bowl bid. Appears that the sips ducked the Aggies, again.
Call Texas Monthly.

5-7 bowl bids
remember when getting into a bowl ment something?

But on the real doe, any self respecting Nebraska fan will avoid their bowl at all costs, even watching it on TV. 5-7 should not be rewarded...ever. Next thing you know, we'll have CFB's version of the CBI where sub .500 teams will have their mini playoffs at Disney World and all the schools will win participation trophies because Mickey Mouse said so.
frick You ESPN
frick You NCAA
frick You Foster Farms
frick You AutoNation
frick You Ford/Quick Lane
You have all tried your hardest to ruin CFB.
Cursed be Nebraska and Minnesota (well, not Minnesota, they already have it bad enough) for accepting a bowl bid! As a program, they should be ashamed.

I thought that you were serious until I opened it up and read it

Well done from BC. Sips... well, SOME of them... do a great job with satire directed at themselves.

even watching it on TV
Be honest with yourself. If the 5-7 aggies were in a bowl you wouldn't watch it on TV regardless of how pissed you were?

Nope. Most of the times we've been to a bowl, it's been during the dead heat of the holidays and usually something is going on that I have to excuse myself to go watch the game (Only recent exception has been 2011 Cotton Bowl). If we are 5-7, we'd probably land in a pre-New Years game. That means I will probably do what I have to do as far as holidays and family is concerned over a lame arse 5-7 Aggie team that doesn't deserve to play in the post season.

Nope I didn't even watch the LSU game, why would I watch a meaningless bowl game

I would hope we'd accept a bid at 5-7, just for the extended practice time.

I didn't watch the Liberty Bowl live last year. I just watched the highlights after the fact.

I'd definitely watch it. Everyone who answered "no" is a liar.

If we are ever 5-7 again we don't need extra practice, we need a new coach.

Didn't we turn down a bowl at 6-6 RC's last year?

Your football team has a game that could be won or lost. I wouldn't be able to resist myself watching the Tigers even if they were 0-12 and in the godaddy bowl. That is a ridiculous notion that I would never expect from aggies of all fans. Cmon dudes I can't believe that, won't believe it. They are just fricking with me, that's how ridiculous that is.

If my team was 5-7 I would want them to turn down a bowl bid we're in agreement there. If we didnt i would still make a point to watch every second of that game. I would never decide Im not interested in a football game LSU is lining up and trying to win. Never.

You need to rephrase the question.
I didn't watch last year's game because I had something more important to do with family. I wasn't overly excited about the game.
This year, I might go out of my way NOT to watch if Spavitard is still the OC.

Was a student during the Fran years, went to every single home game while I was there. I'd definitely watch a 5-7 A&M bowl team.
