Update on Kiffin's status

According to a guy who has some knowledge over on BOL, Kiffin has asked Saban to stay for one more year. Unsure of what the result will be. I think Saban has had a plan in place to replace Kiffin and likely wants Blake Barnett to have the same OC for the rest of his time in Tuscaloosa.

Tough loss if Coach Kiffin moves on, he has done an outstanding job in the two seasons he has been at Alabama

Just a random message board poster as far as I'm concerned, but he's some how had the goods on this entire coaching carousel as it involves Bama assistants. I'll believe him until he's wrong.

I gotcha. It's surprising how often some rumors that I read on message boards come to pass. There are people in the know on here sometimes I guess.

Kiffin asked Saban if he (Kiffin) could stay on for another year. Supposedly.

At this point, there isn't much Saban could do that would leave us bitter.

That would be tough to lose Kiffen as this years OC.
Who in this world could Bama hire to call 46 running plays for one back? Hmmmm? I know, Houston Nutt would love that job, he might even put in a new play to be fair to the other team and have Henry run backwards a few time's. Heck Henry would still rush for 200 doing that against A&M.
