A lot (not all) of Bama fans use it as proof that Derick Henry is better than all the RB's because he has all these yards and TD's despite getting pulled early in most games, yet 1,003 of his yards came in the second half. Seems pretty balanced to me.

Swing away.

Has been very good this season and deserves the heisman, if he wins it.

Well I'm sure as hell glad he gets better and better as the game goes on. Closing out games is important to winning. Especially late in the season.

When did Henry get pulled? Certainly not in most games.
Bama stopped using the forward pass, and let Henry steam roll to chew up clock in most second halves, as I recall.

Except for occasional blips like the Cam IB, Bama has been a 2nd half team for years now. That's their M.O. LSU of all teams should know that.

He was pulled early in the games that were in hand.

Imagine what he would have done if he'd been at LSU?

He's better than all the RBs because we didn't have to use powderpuff teams to pad his stats.

He had 18 carries, 13 carries, and 9 carries against MTSU, La. Monroe, and Charleston Southern, respectively.

He has bested Herschel Walker's rushing record while doing it in fewer carries and with no help from pushovers.

Link to anyone saying this? I think you are confusing the argument that he racked up his carries/yards in the biggest games on the scheduled and was pulled/used sparingly against the cupcakes.

Nobody is saying he gets pulled early in most games. To the contrary people have been saying he gets stronger as the game goes on and takes over the game in the 4th quarter.

Rerun without MTSU, ULM and CS. Might see a bigger difference. Then check the 4th qtr of the biggest games like LSU, UT, AU, UGA, TAMU and UF.

If not for one bad game, a cancelled game, or a PCL injury, Henry would be the 3rd best back in his own conference right now.

That's a lot of football being taken out right there. That's like saying a WR wouldn't have that many yards without the long 50 catch.
