What is going on with him Aubbies?
Arkansas offered today and he has already set up a visit supposedly for this weekend. Is he an EE? Is he looking for a new home because of Muschamp rumors?

He's not a AU commit.
Decommitted a long time ago. For a while it appeared Auburn wasn't going to recruit him anymore.
Now all of the sudden we hear he'll probably recommit to AU soon.

Okay, everything I have seen still has him as a commit to you guys.
What was his reasoning for looking around, or was it an Auburn decision to part ways?

That was before Arkansas offered. But I'm assuming the Arkansas offer wouldn't really change anything. Could be wrong though.

UT and UF were after him hard but backed off because there were grade concerns. I thought AU cut him loose because he couldn't qualify.

With how Bert vets these guys before offering, I would assume his academics are in order.

Probably won't know on his grades until this semester ends... I doubt on 12/3 he or anyone knows if his fall semester grades are good enough.

If Bert has offered him, he feels really good about his grades.
That is the way Bert does it. I can't remember one recruit not qualifying since he has been here.

Spoken like someone who knows how his own head coach operates his recruiting process.
Bert doesn't recruit risks. As I stated, I cannot remember one recruit that didn't qualify in his past two classes where he isn't reaching like he was his first season. He has a pretty strict guideline as far as who he offers.
That's why I say, if he offered then he feels good about him qualifying.

does Bert have a crystal ball to know this kid's fall grades are legit?... if not, his "offer" is likely conditional on graduating from juco.
