COLLEGE STATION- KBTX has learned the Silk Stocking property on Highway 6 has been seized by state authorities.

News 3's Rusty Surette and Clay Falls were there with investigators as a locksmith changed the locks on all the doors.

Signs were also posted on all the doors that read: "WARNING: This property has been seized for nonpayment of taxes owed to the State of Texas."

The signs posted on the doors also say "The Comptroller of Public Accounts has seized this property for nonpayment of taxes, penalty or interest due to the State of Texas. It is against the law to enter, dismantle, take possession of or remove anything from this property"

The company owes $192,587.75 for taxes and fees owed since 2008, , according to Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Press Secretary Kevin Lyons.

So I made my first trip to College Station in over 30 years this year and you sorry bastards didn't direct me to this fine establishment. And now it's too late. Shame, shame.

Investment? I'm in. Outside of churches, I have always believed Titi bars have been the best fail-proof business. Recruit Blinndergardern girls and make it dirty as possible = $

Good luck. They been trying to shut down the dirty sock for years. There is no way in hell you'll ever get permission to open another in either the Bryan or CS etj. Somebody bought the old bar just outside of Hearne a few years ago and tried to make a go of it with a Tit bar and it didn't make it mainly due to an abnormally high number of cops stopping almost everyone that left the place. It's a shame I remember when they built the sock, we were still running cows on what is now Pebble Creek

You could look into it but I can guarantee you the City of College Station will make your life difficult.

The city of CS is very conservative in general and strongly opposes stuff like this. The sex shops in the area get a ton of grief as well.

When my friend bought the old Diamond Taxi Company building in Downtown Bryan to move his Tattoo Studio there they made him jump thru so many hoops it was pathetic. This is a custom appointment only shop, it's not your average sleeze ball place. Bryan is easier than College Station

They gonna be pissed at me next summer but won't be shite they can do about it. I'm going to widen my driveway and remove the gravel and make it concrete which requires a permit but I know the rules to well and how to do it legally without a permit. Should be a fun few weeks when one of the code enforcement guys realizes I've done it
