Well, if we go Liberty I am in the know...
I have close contact with Directors, Managers of the following
Liberty, Cotton, Peach, and Orange. I used to with the Buffalo WIld wings (Old Cap 1) but things soured quickly.

Liberty Bowl fatigue
I guess I should have said Memphis fatigue. Almost losing to East Carolina was enough but I'd rather be in warmer climes or some place I don't visit frequently as opposed to Memphis in Winter. And I wouldn't want Shreveport either but I don't think we have ties to that bowl anymore.

The SEC still has ties to the Indy bowl.
Pecking order as follows.
1. Playoff bowl (cotton/Orange this season)
2. SEC Team can be picked for one of the other 4 playoff bowls or big bowls. Arizona, New Orleans, Atlanta, Rose
3. Buffalo Wild Wings (old cap 1)
4. Pick 6 bowls, Outback(tampa), Tax Slayer (Jacksonville), Liberty (Memphis), Belk (N. Carolina), Music City (Nashville), Texas (Houston)all of these are considered on the same pecking order now for 5 more years.
5. Birmingham
6. Indy Shreveport.
In this order...

SEC won't have a bowl eligible team for Indy bowl this year unless the 5-7 orange slices are given to Mizzou.

Anywhere but Memphis or Shreveport, please.

It will be Memphis or Nashville. It doesn't matter about SEC seeding anymore. It's all about ticket sales and money.
They will sell their allotment for these games.
We went to Texas last year so I think that's out.
I don't want West Virginia. They will pass for like 700 yards.

If B12 team, we better pray for K-State. WVU will drop passes over our two linebackers all day. We ain't getting Texas or Tech again.

Music City is my choice.
Nashville is a bad arse city, loads of entertainment, Justin Moore will put together a show at the Grand Ol' Oprey, We'll have tons of bars and music to check out.
Our opponent would come from ACC or Big 10, I welcome that. I do not welcome TCU or WVU. Kstate we'd maul like a bad nightmare.
I'd welcome a game against Louisville, Duke, NCST, Miami or PITT from the ACC.
I'd also welcome a game against any Big 10 team. Michigan would be nice but they'll likely go to the Cap 1 whatever it's called bowl.
Big 10 should get 1 in the playoff and 2 invites to the next tier bowls. If Stanford beats ND, I'm assuming Michigan St and ND or the team left out of the Big 10 championship game gets ND in a big bowl.
The #2 Big 12 team OU/OSU will get one of those 2nd tier bowls and probably get Florida or FSU winner. The FSU/Florida loser likely plays a PAC 12 team. There'll be a handful of pac 12 teams to choose, they beat up on each other this year.
Maybe Ole Miss can sneak into one of the 2nd tier bowls but I figure they're looking at a Michigan match up in the Cap 1/BWW bowl.
anyways to stop rambling, Music City against a ACC or Big 10 team is the best situation for us. I'm sick of punching up in the bowls based off the strength of our fanbase, give us a team we can blow away and go into recruiting home stretch with momentum.

Louisville would be glorious, but I'd be a fricking nervous trainwreck in the weeks leading up to the game. They've looked terrible this year, but Petrino would pick apart our fricking atrocious secondary.

If you want future success under Da Bert, you definitely do not want BP to have a few weeks to prep for this Arkansas team.
Just imagine the crapshow following a loss to the Harlot Rider...
Geeze...
Unlike many on here, I love Memphis. I grew up playing music there, have many contacts and business associates there, hotels are a quick call and a great deal away for me. as for the game, love it.
Steve Ehrhart is the director and could easily be mayor of Mempho one day imho.
Personal ties, business ties, I am all in for the Liberty.
Now, I love the Music City as well, but don't have as many contacts, etc. Belk, I will stay home. Cant imagine the travel costs involved eta.

I'd take Pitt in Nashville. I have no doubt Fat Chaney would call a horrible game.

REALLY don't like the projected opponents for the Liberty Bowl...give us a B1G team its what America wants.

Last two I saw had us vs. Louisville in Nashville and against KSU in Memphis.
