Will Kentucky finally make a bowl? :UPDATE:

Must win game for the Wildcats against Louisville this weekend. Can Stoops finally get Kentucky to a bowl for the first time since 2010?
Or will they fizzle out after a strong start for the second straight year? The game is at Kentucky so that helps somewhat, but Petrino is a much better coach. Tough call but I think Louisville wins a close one, 33-30.
Stoops' seat may start to heat up if he can't win this one. No way they can him this year though, too many jobs open.

If they don't make it I will laugh my arse off. Having said that, basketball season has started so I don't think you will get much of a reaction out of most Kentucky fans.

I really hope they whip Louisville but they phoned it in against Vandy despite Vandy being a great D. UKs defense was just non-existent.

Louisville are god awful there's no reason they shouldn't beat them.

Death, taxes, and another Stonehog thread about UK Football.

I want Louisville to lose more than most Kentucky fans.

Thanks for stating yet another UK thread. It's flattering really.
With that said, an average Louisville squad at home with a bowl on the line, should be a win UK needs to pull off.

I am not here to troll. Well... I'll troll if its Kentucky basketball.
I really did think Kentucky was about to turn the corner and with the East in chaos have a solid shot at making it to Atlanta.
Instead we have another middle to late season collapse from the Wildcats.
I am not trolling Belle, Mike, and the other Kentucky football fans who have weathered these storms when I say this... its unacceptable.
No, Kentucky football probably will never match Kentucky basketball, but the pieces are there to be a very solid program.
Kentucky is not a bad recruiting ground and there are some solid football states next door to hit as well. A well coached Kentucky team can absolutely win the East if the pieces fall into place and, if the comets align that particular season, even make some noise on the national scene.
He has done yeoman's work but I don't think Stoops is the guy to lead Kentucky to the promised land in football.

I know it's a troll thread, but I'll give an honest answer.
If they don't make a bowl game this year, it's because they didn't deserve it and have nobody to blame but themselves. Look at the Vandy game. We had two drives stall out at the Vandy 2 yard line and didn't get a single point on either of them(one of the drives even started on the Vandy 4 yard line). That is unacceptable and it's on them. Stoops may well prove to be a good coach, but he's not right now.
With that said, I'll be really disappointed if we don't beat UofL, especially with the revenge factor going. I have my doubts though because they've lost every single "big game" at home this season and most of them haven't been close. That better change.

Everyone should pull for SEC teams to beat OOC foes....the CFP is prime example of why. The SEC needs to be strong and the best conference.
Right now there is a Big Ten lovefest going on and losing to OOC foes is what we DONT need.
UGA beat Tech ...pocket protector wearing nerds
USC somehow get inner strength to upset taters
UK beat Louieville and Minnesota Fats
UF kick the girls schools azz

I haven't checked in with Kentucky since the first month of the season
I presume they are still battling for that SEC East crown?

Update:
5-7 teams ahead of Kentucky:
Nebraska
Kansas State
Minnesota
San Jose State
Illinois
Rice
Unfortunately it doesn't look like Kentucky will be able to make it in at 5-7 this year. Too many teams ahead of them and not enough spots available.
