wtf does his economic status have to do with alleged racial injustice?

Are well-off African-Americans immune from experiencing prejudice, racism, racial slurs, etc. ?

Absolutely not. But perhaps he was not the best figurehead for a movement demanding that someone acknowledge his "privilege".

No, but when you write and publicize something demanding another person basically apologize for being born white and having money, it doesn't help when you yourself grew up in a wealthy family

We know it is not white privilege but green privilege. If his father is wealthy ( God Bless) then this person would be an expert or had a lot of dealings on the positive side of white privilege. But did the "Poor" football players know this??

I think the boycott should have been for getting the student athlete some type of stipend. Yes these student athletes get a free education but most of them cannot even buy a bag of chips. They have suffered more than the hunger strike man. Did they know his daddy eats steaks and seafood every night? If they did then so be it but if they did not then they addressed the wrong problem on campus with the power they brought to the table.

You have a hard time keeping up, it seems, considering this was never about racial injustice.

It was about "white priviledge."

People who are privileged become hypocritical when they demand others publicly announce their own (perceived) privileges.

Furthermore, there is little-to-no evidence supporting rampant racial injustice, only the word of the aforementioned 'hunger-striker'.

If the bulk of the evidence is based on the word of a single individual, don't you think their character should be taken into account?

No one is arguing the fact that African-American do experience social injustices. However, HOW DOES THE PRESIDENT AND CHANCELLOR HAVE ANY frickING RESPONSIBILITY? You see the goddamn problem there? There is literally no evidence. Well, let me refrain, there was a fricking poop swastika.

I applaud the 1950 group for fighting for what they believe in. However, the university really messed up by forcing them to resign. Literally opened Pandora's box... Opened the fricking floodgates to more idiocy

One of his conditions for Wolfe was to admit to having white privilege. It's kind of contradicting when you are slandering a gentleman's name all over the various news outlets, when Jonathan Butler was actually probably more well off the Wolfe, himself! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Probably not. But I have to say that, any time a well-off white person claims racism, no one gives a shite.

No, but they should shut the frick up when talking to people who grew up poor and in poverty about privelage. This racist POS would tell a starving white kid to check his privilege from his ivory tower
