This is the thing though, they won't remember it if he shows it was the exception, not the rule.

they absolutely will. that's why you're seeing him in 4th place on lists like the SI one posted above. no one gives a shite about his numbers against shitty teams if he's gonna shite the bed when it matters most. he's a great player but what happened Saturday is now and forever part of his legacy as an LSU great.

Except to many of the voters like on the west coast and other places outside of the SEC country vote based on what they see and read. History has shown they do not watch every game and many will only watch 1 or 2 games outside their area and this is where it is unfair because the voters may watch only see LF play a few times and now one game may very well hurt.
