This will change, Fournette will get what he needs to win the Heisman
Or L5U could lose 2 of the next three, many teams fall apart after a good beat down.

SEC champ game is a week before the Heisman ceremony. Henry is in great shape as he will have an extra game to impress voters

If Fournette disappears the next 3 games Henry should win it.

Or to lose it. Another sub 100 yard game may hurt him.

I didn't say that. I just simply said that fournette no showed in the biggest game of his career and voters will take notice. which is why this is happening.
and it's not about comparing him to previous years; it's about this year. and he shite the bed on the biggest stage of the season while another candidate dominated on the same field. would be naive to think that doesn't matter to voters.

As great as all past Heisman winners were none of them won it without a great cast of players around them. Especially running backs. Right or wrong that's why the winner usually goes to the player on the best team. This is a good example. Who's to say LF would have run for 210 yards if he played for Bama Saturday night? Impossible to know but the results speak very loudly for Henry.

Are TDs a stat? Conference rushing?

If he outproduces Henry for the remainder of the season you would have to be naive to think the voters would give Henry the trophy because of one game.

What in the actual frick?
Anyway, it's deserving. Game was super hyped, and Henry was the only back that delivered. Unless you count Drake, who also had more yards rushing that "Twonette"

5.5 YPC. Stop the presses. He did a good job but it wasn't anything like what we saw with Fournette against AU.

it could happen sure. but the reason we're having this conversation is that he could not have possibly looked worse in this weekend's game which literally the entire country was watching while Henry made the lsu defense his bitch all night long. it's pretty straightforward.

Once again, Fournette has 1 fewer with 1 less game played. It's pretty ignorant to use total TDs in this situation.

Conference rushing?
Fournette leads in YPC and is tied in TDs, with one fewer game played.
I love how you keep using total TDs and yards for Henry even though he's played more games.

You think Fournette vs. Auburn was more impressive than Henry vs. L5U? That's pretty funny.

and the larger point is that the heisman is not an award for whoever ends up with the best stats at the end of the year. there is a human element to it, one that values legendary performances on the biggest of stages.
unfortunately for fournette, he literally never got off the bus. that won't play well with many voters. he played scared.

It's not just about stats. It's about the fact the Fournette has looked better than Henry in every single game except for one.
The kneejerk reactions of the idiots on a message board do not apply to the heisman voters.
As I said before, if Fournette outperforms Henry in his final 3 games they will not give it to Henry just because he had a better game once this season, no matter the stage.
