after this season, what would be our options at DC?

Let's revisit another one of my threads since it was shot down also.... What direction do we go in if he leaves?

He won't, so this is a waste of time.

Would TRob be ready? I'd hate to lose him as a recruiter.

TRob probably would slide in DC role with Muschamp. Unlikely Auburn offers DC role

Info points to Boom being committed to staying here til the D is turned around. Also I don't think any school would take a shot with him as the HC right now coming off not succeeding at one of the easiest places to succeed as a HC in Florida plus not making major statistical progress with our D. The only school I believe would remotely look at him right now is Houston if Herman leaves for SCar or another P5 job. Even then I think Houston would hire an offensive guy.

Didn't something happen with Houston and Muschamp before he came here? I remember he was rumored for the HC job but I don't remember why he didn't get it. Did they turn him down or did he turn them down?

Kevin Greene is "retired" and I think he said he is trying to spend time with his family not travel for FB

Joe Whitt Jr basically said if it isn't a HC position

JWjr was a legit recruiter but it seems like he wants to coach not tell 16 YOs they are better than sliced bread

Kevin Greene is actually coaching at Niceville HS as a volunteer.

He said he wants to get back into real coaching once his kids are in college. Not sure how old they are, but the most recent pics I could find it looks like they have some years left. Maybe we could entice him with Auburns school system so he can still coach and be close to family?

I would go after Bud Foster at VT, always had great defenses.

Good info E. I was worried about Houston. I hope boom does stay around until our D is up to par, it would be nice to have a DC longer than a couple of years.
