He has been down in southern Ga coaching high school football. His teams are actually doing very well most years and he has them in the hunt for the state title most years.

He was a douche but he is probably one of the top HS football coaches ever. Story is when he got cancer, he straightened his life out. Hope so.He changed Alabama HS football forever with his year round S&C programs and his run and shoot offense.

6 was that he is a jerk with an over-inflated opinion of self. That's still true, baw. He may not be AS BIG of a jerk, but he's still a jerk. And he still thinks he's a brilliant football mind that deserves to be coaching in college somewhere.

7 was that he hasn't come to grips with the fact that his lifestyle cost him a job as a college assistant. He understands that it DID, but he doesn't think it SHOULD HAVE. I perhaps could have phrased that differently.

Nope. I went to a 5A school that never played Hoover and if we did I'm confident they would have stomped us. We were not a very good team, though, so it would have been like AU beating Vandy.

Agree. He learned some of that arrogance working side by side with your boy Rush. That said, he has managed to do what Rush couldn't and get his shot at the next level and make the most of it.
