I'm not going to bother to post a link, because it would give him what he wants, but this guy has slopped together a hit piece on Mizzou.
Calls GP the highest paid coach in the SEC East. Lulz.
Says DGB had a history of violence towards women, lulz.
All this and more because he's pissed that the program didn't let the cat out of the bag regarding Mauks suspension.
I get the "I'm not a homer" angle, that's fine, but if you're going to try and come off like a smug little bitch, at least back it up with real facts.

The perfect description of Strauss.

Can't he move up to the Northeast where he can self-loathe with the rest of them?

Joe Strauss is a smarmy little bitch and always has been. He was roundly hated by the players and LaRussa when he was on the Cardinals beat.
This is one writer I seriously can not stand.

I used to enjoy the StL PD, but since Burwell died and Bernie moved on, it's really turned into mindless drivel.
The way matter writes about Mizzou it is almost shocking that he even went to the school. Everything is to the point and lacks passion about the team. I feel like I'm reading AP Game Recaps when I open up a Matter article. He's a very good journalist, but he doesn't have the flair for the local team.
Paper has really gone down hill.

I read it. It was clearly written in the vein of an angry fair-weather fan...not a journalist.
I've been a professional writer for around 35 years. I give him a D-minus for content...and a passing grade for grammar and spelling.
And an "F" for objectivity.

Matter is ok, but Morrison is much better.

The Post Disgrace continues to become more and more irrelevant. Imagine what Joseph Pulitzer would say today about the rag with his name on the masthead.
He would not be proud.

When we want flyover's opinion, we'll ask for it. As for self-loathing, nearly a decade in the cradle of freedom has done nothing but increase my self love. In fact, there's no one I respect more than me. Because I'm awesome. Wicked awesome.

More likely, he'd say, "Why can't that fricking OLine block?"
