Bama Fans: The Bear Bryant myth must be corrected! It's not true...

...that Bear Bryant wore a houndstooth pattern hat.
You've based your entire wardrobe and that of your redneck girlfriend's on a dumb pattern that your hero never wore.

It is also just a myth that LSU fans smell like corn dogs. Truth is I've sniffed many an LSU fan, and though I've had to flee or fight afterwards, I can attest that some do not smell like corn dogs, only those from the Baton Rouge area strongly have that odor.
Just kidding, I really don't care what they smell like except when they key your car, cut your tires, yell at children for sniffing in their direction.

It is also a myth that Coach Bryant was 16-4 against LSU... count'um... 16 epic beatings against 4 close losses.
Actually according to corn doggies, that 16-4 record is not true. Also, Alabama's record against LSU is not 48-25-5 either.
Bryant's true record against LSU was 0-0 and Alabama vs LSU all time is 7-7 because everyone knows LSU didn't play football before 2001,

Sony Werben,the owner of the NY Jets gave CPB his hounds tooth hat. Bryant liked it and a fashion statement was started.
