The OL was much improved this game. I hope it is actual improvement and not just Kentucky not being good. I know Kentucky was missing one of their D-lineman.
It was also great that we made an effort to get the young RBs carries early and to work the middle runs some. That added a lot more balance and everything became a lot more open.

Great game. Dak finally pulled it and ran in theendzone untouched. Could have beaten LSU with that play. Why did we wait till mid-season to pull it?

What we are seeing a team of younger guys starting to gel.
OL and secondary went beast mode against UK. That was a whole new state team than what we have been watching. Can't wait for the Bama game

Go watch the film...UK had 3 down linemen and nobody on the second level. We had 2 O linemen blocking 10-15 yards downfield.
Great play call, but no idea what UK was thinking.

When we went to a 2 TE set, UK was totally confused, and they were jumping around all over the place. I don't think we have run that set before. It certainly confused the heck out of UK. Dak had a few designed runs from that alignment, and we used the TE's very well on pass plays.

I love the way that Hutch has stepped up. He is making some nice grabs.

OL did much better pass rushing. Kentucky helped with their 3 man rush .. Dak took advantage. Like the long passes that kept the safeties from cheating up on the line.
Run blocking is still an issue. RBs aren't helping as much as they should either.

are you talking about the play where he called a straight run? I'm talking about when he pulled the handoff with a wide open, naked field in front of him like we should have done all second half against LSU.
