and then the REAL misery will begin.

Maybe wrestling and girls volleyball will ease the pain.

I like the sound of girls volleyball easing pain.

Not so much with wrestlers.

Misery?? Oh, please. I'm confident we can win several games during the season.

Kim Anderson is almost as big of a joke as Josh Henson.

I'm actually excited for the basketball season to start.

You think the football team being 4-3 is bad...

I expect basketball to be a dumpster fire this year. My body is ready. Coach can't hurt me.

I'm really more interested (can't quite say excited) to see what they women't team does. Had some decent talent come in with this last class and interested to see how they adjust to the college game.

Prediction: Anderson is fired or resigns before the end of the season

That's a semi bold prediction.

Anderson doesn't strike me as a quitter.

So why would Mack Rhodes fire him before the season is over? The day after, sure, but why before?

Turmoil inside the locker room after a lot of bad losses could sway the hand of Rhodes.

We were picked last in the conference by every single media member who voted. Can't say I'd argue with that. I don't see us hitting .500 this year, I'd honestly be a little shocked if we hit double digit wins. From the practice reports I've heard, Woods is rail thin and has a very limited offensive game, and Payne is struggling as well, and that's against our team, imagine what it will be like versus a top 150 squad.

Anderson isn't going anywhere during the season. Probably not next year either. If he hasn't reached 20 wins after next year he may be let loose

Yeah...I'd be more shocked if Rob Fulford is still around though. Guy is a blue chip prospect on the coaching ladder.

So you're saying I can drop my cable service after the Bowls are over?

I think it depends on how the season goes. If we end up in the top 150 in all our metrics and win 12-15 games, I think he's back. But if we are in single digit wins again, and below 150 like last season, that shows no progress at all and he needs to go before he kills the program completely.

He can't kill the program completely. Just ask the experts at TB.

Being a Mizzou fan is kinda like being a Cub fan.

I'm a Mizzou and Card fan until I die. I really want a Mizzou FB CC and a Natty before I move on. I very much appreciate the Card's WS wins.
