So I watched last night and as I did I noticed a few things..

1) Lambert is truly a bad QB. He stared down is target as soon as the ball was snapped and very rarely went through his progressions. He was quick to dump it, rarely scrambled and made anything happen. Lets face it, we all hoped he would "grow up", but he isn't. Our passing game will suck against any defense with a pulse.

2) Our Offensive line is slightly above average but far from elite. They struggled ALL night. Theus...man Theus...has anyone been more disappointed with a senior LT than this guy? I am severely disappointed with the line. Even when we had Chubb, it was a struggle. So sad.

3) Our RB situation better get fixed before UF. This fricking putting Douglas in when the game is on the line is just stupid. I like the kid, but he isnt a playmaker. Where is Keith Marshall? I thought he looked good? If we truly are hinging on a white kid for theyards, why not try Turman? I mean what the frick could it hurt? Some guys simply become stars on the field.

4) Schitty...and no thats not a typo...had a absolutely retard bad game...Nothing more needs to be said...this guy is just very average

5) Finally and most importantly,we miss Conleyand Bennett a ton more than I thought. From the blocking outside to getting open for those 5-15 yarders, man we miss those guys. They bailed us out more than I realized over the passed few years.

With that said..we lose to UF, barring some crazy game.

Agree on all points. I'm still holding out hope we can beat UF but I'm sure in 2 weeks i'll be full blown pessimistic

The play calling was beyond horrible. We basically give up on 3rd down which is why we are 125 out of 127. fricking embarrassing

So, is the offense this bad because the OC can't develop a better game plan, or is the game plan this bad because there isn't a QB capable of doing more than this?
Richt supervised Bobo for years and still should be reviewing and approving the game plan with this OC. Is our QB situation really as bad as it seems to be? How in the hell could Richt not have at least one decent QB on the team?
Richt has only selected two successful QBs in his time here. Stafford and Murray. Stafford used his last two seasons simply to get ready for the draft. Murray is the only QB that gave his whole heart to Georgia.

A few Offense Observations...

-Why do we continue to run the read option when Lambert is no threat to keep it? I think he's kept it once, for like a 5 yard TD against vandy. Hell even if you only keep it once per game for a 1 yard gain, at least show the other team that that's an option.
-Why do we continue to run straight up the middle? With chubb that's fine, he's that kind of runner. Sony isn't. Gimme a toss sweep (have we run one all season?) some traps, pulling guards, something. Get him outside.
-Need more keith marshall
-Need more TEs, which we've all said all year
-Why no deep shots downfield? I know we attempted a post or two yesterday, but with Mitchell and Davis's speed, at least once per game we should just run a straight up go and tell them to run straight as fast as they can and bomb it. That's what we did on Reggie's TD against UT last week and it worked. Even if it's incomplete who cares, and if it's picked they're 50 yards downfield which is the same as a punt anyway.

GA had 2 10 play drives, 1 12 play drive and a 16 play drive last night. they moved the ball a lot of the time. Problem was they resulted in fg attempts and not touchdowns. Against that defense, I saw some encouraging signs
