Gaht damn....

Someone in the NCAA offices must really like Freeze and Katy Perry.

The list of impermissible benefits Tunsil has received in Oxford is lengthy and more than just the one loaner car which had been previously reported. It was about three of them, over a six-month period without payment. A four-month interest-free promissory note on a $3,000 down payment for purchasing a used vehicle, two nights of lodging at a local home, an airline ticket purchased by a friend of a teammate and one day use of a rental vehicle were also among the impermissible benefits Tunsil has received in Oxford. Tunsil was also apparently less than truthful with the NCAA when first asked about all these things, and the NCAA is a lot like a mother in this regard: lying only makes it worse.

"Your tunsilitis is flaring up"

Are we supposed to believe Freeze didn't know? If not, then are we to pretend he's still a saint?

I really don't think any of it is a big deal.
People helped he out while I was in college...so what?
The fact that they even mention this one highlights their need (want) to make these allegations appear totally damning:
I mean, come on now...it's none of the NCAA's business where kids might spend a couple of nights.

Don't understand why he would lie. Doesn't seem very smart

I'm actually surprised this is the same story even with Oliver Luck within the NCAA walls. I guess I was foolish to think anything would change or get more strict, especially with so much obvious evidence about Tunsil.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there tons of evidence with Fluker too and nothing happened @ Bama?

Oh, I'm not saying the rules are even close to logical. But given the hammer that was brought down on gurley and AJ green I'm just surprised he was able to do so much and not be stripped of his eligibility

They enforce what they want to enforce. In that Luther Davis fiasco from a few years back, they nailed the kid from Tennessee by taking his senior season from him and all the others were just forgotten.

If he didn’t think he was doing anything wrong, he wouldn't have lied. He's been coached.

There was some talk of involvement with an agent and receiving $$ from an agent, but nothing ever about receiving anything from the University or anyone associated with the University.

Ole Miss hasn't ever sued the NCAA.

It's fricked up that we lost Maurice Couch for his senior season because of something a Bama player did
