The best comedy always has an element of truth.
Good find.

Most of that turned out to be pretty accurate.

why the hell was everyone so mad when petrino left mid season and not when Spurrier leaves mid season....
its a classless move and I'm in shock people don't realize this. Players play till the whistle...coaches coach till the end of a season....they don't leave their team high and dry.

Have you ever considered that this decision was actually made for the benefit of Sakerlina's program and not for himself?

How is him leaving mid season benefit the program? Isn't he HBC..greatest coach around..... prove it then HBC...

I tried making that point but I think he's completely unwilling to entertain that thought.
I'm sure, in hindsight, that Spurrier wishes he had left at the end of the 2014 season. He realizes now he should have. So, now realizing that, he's supposed to hang around for 6 more games because of commitments made to players and because hanging around would somehow be better for the program?
I guess he could have announced he was leaving at year's end now and let the coaching search begin. Then he'd be a lame duck. Is that somehow better? Either way, he'd be leaving.
The real question is why some non-Carolina fans burn so much energy getting their panties in a wad about it.
