Is the seventh best winning % of active coaches with more than 10 seasons really that impressive? 7th place don't even get a ribbon at the special Olympics.
Yeah. Finishing 7th out of 120+ is horrible, right?

There are that many coaches out there with 10+ seasons?

What is his record vs ranked teams for the last 10 years? last 5 years?
How many times have we lost to unranked teams or teams ranked lower than us in the past 10 years? The past 5 years?
What is Richt's bowl record in the past 10 yrs? The past 5?
Richt has a hard time winning the big games. Richt usually wets the bed 1 or 2 times a season to a unranked team or get blown out.

Well let's look at the past 5. (2011-2015)
Since most coaches are fired within 5 years.
44-16. 73.3%
2 division titles
1 top 10 finish (2014)
1 top 5 finish (2012)
Basically a 10 win season coach.
My only issue with firing him after this season, is how many freshmen we are playing, people are getting upset because we lost the 2 games ( most predicted) we would lose coming into the season, and finally but most importantly the recruiting class including Jacob Eason would be lost. UGA would be set back years. I agree the losses are frustrating , but if you can't see the whole picture and realize the program is almost there your blind. A few years ago coming off a losing season I could see the change , but now after rebuilding again. After the investment. We are right here we were predicted. 10-2 winning the East. You have to believe UF loses this weekend. That puts everything in our hands win out which is possible if not probable. Not to mention , the admin is not doing anything. So you have 2 choices support and be patient or find another team.

No one is pulling for our program and Richt more than I am....possible yes, but probable is ridiculous. Unfortunately, our team lays the occasional egg when it's least expected.....Tennessee last week......Georgia Tech and Florida last season.....you can go back every season since 2008 and find them...by egg laying, I mean losing to a team that you are much more talented than and clearly looking like you're not ready to play. Missouri was an egg laying two years ago. With Missouri, Florida, Kentucky and Auburn all left on the SEC schedule, nothing is probable...only hopeful.

2015 is this year, you mean 2010-2014
46-21 (9.2 wins per year,4.2 losses per year which is terrible.)
If you want to count this year:
50-23

That's fine include his only losing season followed by 2 division titles and a top 5 finish.
Of course no one wants to discuss how UGA will absolutely lose every 4 & 5 star commitment if they fire CMR. it's not even debatable the entire class will be gone.
Recruits comit to coaches not schools and anyone who says other wise is just wrong.
Anyone really want to not go to bowl games and have losing seasons the next 3 years , because that is what will happen.

This is such a dumb statement. What has Mark Richt done with these 4 and 5 stars? Seriously....our last SECCG was 10 YEARS AGO. These kids he are recruiting now were in elementary school!

You honestly think the current class will stay intact if CMR gets fired. Your an idiot.
By the way the last sec championship was 10 yrs. the last SECCG was in 2012.

So your first point of Richt being a ten win coach over the past five years was invalid, now you're on to the next light bulb to flicker in your brain.

You have no credibility here, but you are entitled to your opinion.

Hell, I don't really know he why was ever fired. The way you guys accept mediocrity with top ten recruiting classes every year, I'm sure you all were more than happy with Donnan.

Of course it's debatable. I have never seen such a phenomenon occur. It sure as heck didn't when we fired our last coach.

Nobody disrespects Loren Smith on Coach Dooley's watch.
Oh, and the fact that he sucked a little less than Ray Goof and players like Quincy Carter were getting lots of little extra perks and were out of control.

Were there any NCAA ramifications?
