One game doesnt determine who the better team is. If you think about it, LSU fans should not be scared of OM, but its you fricks who start threads left and right or participate in OM threads non stop. If Arkansas fans acted this way, then someone would say they are scared. It has to do with your actions on the board, not previous football results
It's an LSU message board. You fill find an abundance of LSU fans in each and every thread on here

Donald Trump is the front runner. People are lazy and uninformed. Going by what the populous think is not exactly a good strategy, especially when the populous is sports rivals on a message board.

You realize the NCAA has investigated Tunsil for 3 years, found nothing on his recruitment, and all they have is a loaner car that happend over this past summer.
Why is this dragging out so long ?

Which is probably why he is sitting out. They don't have to have proof, and holding him out a year while "investigating" is probably the easiest way to enforce without sufficient evidence to justify them dishing out actual sanctions.
They do have proof. They have signed papers from Cannon motors. If he plays against Memphis will you then believe this was all about a loaner car?

There is a certain amount of time you have to miss in a season based on how much the estimated cost of the benefit is. For instance CJ Hampton missed 2 games because he had received $400 worth of free merchandise from a clothing store here in Oxford. It is hard to evaluate what the cost of keeping a loaner car would be, is my guess as to why it is taking so long and a punishment has not been given. OM is the one holding him out, the NCAA is not telling us to do anything. They are just saying they are still investigating. The word is that they agreed on a 6 game suspension and he will be back next week. If he is not, then I begin to worry.

I feel like it's already been too long for that. I would say proof of the car but insufficient proof, although knowledge, of other offenses.

So why did we have to pay Robert more than everyone else to play with his brother?
Why did we have to pay more for a kid from South Panola to come 20 miles down the road?
Why did we have to pay more for a kid that we placed at a MS juco, who committed to Auburn, only to find out he couldnt go because they wouldnt take his online classes?
Why did we have to pay more to get Tunsil when we were the only ones giving his brother a free ride?
Why did we have to pay more to sway Treadwell to come to OM instead of Oklahoma State?
Give me an instance where we are the zebra? Why are we having to be a zebra when we have inside tracks to all the big fish we land.

because it wasn't a rental car. Loaner car =/= rental car.
There is no set value to it so the NCAA can try to tack on whatever value they see fit.

We were lawyering up 2 weeks ago. We then visited Indy, heard something that made us decide not to lawyer up and and came back with good news that made everyone feel he will back by Memphis. If he isnt back then I will agree, that something else has to be up.

Ole Miss should've known better than beating 'Bama twice! Look what the NCAA's been told to do!

The bigger issue is you mean to tell me with the money the NCAA makes that they can't afford a compliance department that can make a quicker decision than this?
It's really as if a bunch of 20 year old women are arguing where to eat brunch rather than just an investigation.

I have no idea how the NCAA world works, but in the real world this just isn't true.
Establishing the value would be as simple as getting a sample of rental rates from several vendors for type of vehicle in question and the duration of the rental.
You can do it in an hour or two without ever getting up from your desk.
That doesn't mean that there is any issue other than the car. If he was 'loaned' a specialty vehicle you could be talking several thousand dollars for a rental of several months, which would explain the extended suspension (or whatever you want to call it)

I have been told by someone inside the program that Tunsil WILL NOT play against Memphis, but he WILL play against A&M, and he WILL put Myles Garrett's on the turf.

I have been told by someone inside the program several different games Tunsil will, for sure, be back, and those games keep passing by. I don't think anyone knows shite right now, tbqh. IMO, I'm not sure Ole Miss even knows if and when he'll, for sure, be good to play.

Lol sure. Tunisil will just step right in and manhandle the All American that's already played 6 games this year up to that point.

It doesn't seem that difficult, i.e. if the loaner is a 2015 Ford Taurus for 3 weeks rental, then there's your restitution amount.

This is a bunch of blue blood petulance. LSU, Bama, Texas, and USC fans, ignoring the shady practices of their own institutions, see teams like Ole Miss, TCU, Baylor, Oregon, etc. getting a piece of the pie and they bitch and moan non-stop.

While you should not be scared because of historical reasons, you act it on the board

Second time I've had to explain that.
quote:that's not what happened. it was said lsu should be scared. i brought up how even in the most favorable situation to ole miss, lsu still wins most of the time underscoring the disparity in the 2 programs. you then brought up '13 as if to say ole miss can win some too which completely contradicts your next point about the overall state of the 2 programs. again, if 1 game doesn't make the point and the '14 game does make the point, why did you even bring up '13? it doesn't help your point at all except to say that ole miss wins every now and then.
To prove that one game doesnt determine the better team
