So fat bert went on a rant about the officials at the game. Arkansas fans, do you feel it was one sided? Did the refs give us the game?
I haven't seen anyone on this board complain about them post-game but thought I would ask since that's the excuse your coach is giving.

Is thst why we lost? No.

Pretty much in agreement here.
Mainly because SEC refs are terrible. Both in football and basketball.

It wasn't great which is normal but no I think we shot ourselves in the foot more than the officiating did.
There was one that looked like a horse collar to me that didn't get called.

I take it you didn't watch the game

I'll ask you this way
How many holding calls went against you?
How many holding calls went against us?
How many false starts were the direct result of aTm players jumping in the neutral zone?
How many of those were called against aTm
It definitely made a difference in the outcome
That being said, Arkansas had a chance to win that game anyways

You failed to mention that phantom roughing the passer call.

The first Aggies TD was an obvious block in the back. The other big one was the roughing the passer on 3rd and forever in the 4th

The announcers even thought a few were bs.
Regardless, I give our team more credit for the loss than I do the ridiculously overrated aggies. Still wasn't impressed and that is days later after the anger has subsided.

Naw, Hogs got away with a ton of holding non calls. It was pretty evenly officiated.

I didn't care who won since I hate each of you equally. But the bits of the game I was able I watch was horrible in aTm's favor. Like drive killing horrible calls. It honestly reminded me of the Pitt WV game in 07. That bad.

At least 1 holding call was BS per the commentator.
1 roughing the passer was BS per everyone who saw the replay.
1 roughing the passer was iffy.
No call on an obvious block in the back that was a huge gain for A&M.
A couple holding calls on inside run plays which are very rare considering you're run blocking and it's a short play.
Arkansa received 57% more penalties and 79% more in penalty yardage than A&M.
Arkansas was flagged 11 times, and Bert's teams in the past have average about 4-5 penalties a game. This was the second time this year where a handful of iffy penalties against Arkansas made it an uphill battle for Arkansas to win the game (first one was Toledo).

We had about two. Yall had about four. To be honest, y'all were holding a LOT. (See the play when Garrett forced the fumble as an example of an Arkansas hold that wasn't called.)

None. I can think of two you might be complaining about. The first one, when Dan Skipper appeared to move as a result of Hall being in the neutral zone (the commentators talked about it, and were wrong), actually happened because Skipper moved, then Hall went into the neutral zone, then Skipper moved again. The second one you might be thinking occurred when the A&M player did move, but was NOT in the neutral zone. The defense can move.

We had a false start, I think, but not as many - because y'all don't have our defensive ends. They put a TON of pressure on the tackles. We get a whole bunch of false starts on our opponents every week, and it's almost always the tackles getting on their heels trying to anticipate the speed rush.
The second roughing the passer was obviously the right call. The first one was a bad call.

Watch the play again where Myles Garrett forced the fumble of Brandon Allen.
Notice that Kirkland (#55) basically is pulling Garrett's jersey off his shoulder pads.
Notice the lack of a flag.
Now multiply that by about 50 and that's the amount of holding Arkansas got away with.

You could call holding on about every play on both sides of the ball.
