How about he play a game first? Also from what I've read, Mizzou WR's aren't very good either and they don't have a very strong rushing attack.

Short answer is no. Nobody is stepping in UGAs way this season, except for UGA.

Well based on the past, everyone still has a shot

The WR's have to learn how to catch the ball, the OL has to run block, and Lock has to stay healthy. None of those scenarios are realistic with this years team.

Exactly. I think most mizzou fans are extremely excited to see what he does on Saturday. But...

I'm not sure how much of a difference he will make. Regardless, I am excited.

If Florida and Bama win this Saturday I could see the Gators taking the East.

That about sums it up. Lock is a true freshman, this will be his first collegiate start. Let's not over-hype the kid. And CNB is right, our receivers have been awful, so has the running game. We might see improved offense play with Lock at the helm, but East contenders? No. Not this year.

Probably shouldn't crown UGA yet.

If they lose this weekend they'll probably have to sweep @TN and UF to win the division.

They certainly will be favored in both but both teams have enough talent to beat them if they play their best.

Now if they beat Bama this weekend then I think you are right in assuming they'll win the division.
