Ha you might actually be right. Probably picked a fight with the entire offensive line to get everyone motivated.

I actually feel terrible for Maty, his father is really battling cancer, he's getting booed and now he is suspended. I'm excited to see Lock but please let's take it easy on Mauk

I'm wondering did he do something on purpose just to give the Lock clan what the want? 
And if Lock falls on his arse he can say to himself that you got what you asked for!

Like I said in the other thread, word is this might result in Mauk not returning. I have to feel for this young man, going through the situation with his dad. I wish it would have been for other reasons other than team disciplinary actions where they may cut him lose. Sad.
On the other hand, they mention that if this comes to be and Mauk is gone, they mention that Mizzou will be pushing hard for a QB for 2016. This is why I said way back that they needed to go get Skylar Thompson. He's verbally committed to KSU right now, and hopefully he'd switch. Kid is just as talented as Lock. He's more of a Mauk or Franklin style QB being he's a true dual threat QB.
