The Georgia Bulldogs are about to be responsible for Alabama opening up SEC play at 0 - 2
The last time Bama started SEC play at 0 - 2? 1990
The Florida Gators beat the Crimson tide in week 2 and UGA handled them in the Tide's 2nd conference game.
After that, you have to go all the way back to the Reagan presidency to find a season that the boys from Tuscaloosa started league play at 0 - 2.
Believe it or not, VANDY dealt Bama a loss in their SEC opener and then, you guessed it, the Dawgs came in and beat Alabama to make the Tide start SEC play at 0 - 2.
(side not - Tennessee also beat the Tide in their 3rd SEC game that year & Bama beat MS State the next week to prevent an 0 - 4 league start)
After looking at 1984, you have to go all the way back to 1959 to find a season where Alabama did not win at least 1 of their 1st 2 SEC games.
What happened in 1959 you ask? Well, the Georgia Bulldogs beat Alabama to start the season and then Bama TIED Vandy & Tenn in their next 2 SEC games, Bama had to wait until their 4th conference game to record a win against MS State.
So.... the last 3 times that Bama began SEC play without in their 1st 2 SEC games, it was the GEORGIA BULLDOGS that stepped up and had a part of making it happen.
History will be repeating itself this Saturday.

Alabama will beat Georgia. Ole Miss is much better than UGA and the Tide took us to the wire with 5 turnovers.

You also may be in for an extremely rude awakening.
Alabama had to commit 5 turnovers to give Ole Miss a shot at winning. If that gets cleaned up, and I suspect it already has been, Georgia is in trouble
