Auburn fans, why does the offense stall in the red zone?

It seems that this has been the case for 2 season now. I honestly what some of you guys analytical take on the situation.

Their QB can't pass or run so they key in on their RB. Basically LSU last year.
eta: I don't know about last year. Probably because their offensive line was beat up.

Play calling gets weird when we get inside the 20. It's bizarre

They had the same problem last year, especially by the end of the season.
Part of it is a symptom of the spread offense, and part of it play calling.

Nick could pass and run and they stalled out a good bit last year.

Ole Miss frustrates the hell out of me in the redzone.

because we throw interceptions, fumble, have a bad snap, or get penalized.

Because they're not very good

goal line/red zone shrinks the field, which diminishes the effect of the spread

Play calling gets very strange in the redzone. We've been asking the same question for two years now.

Man, my memory is shite today, but didn't they come out of a timeout in last year's Iron Bowl and try a trick play from he 10? A HB pass maybe?

Reduced space + poor play calling

Saturday we ran the ball well especially off tackle, we got in the red zone tried to pound it between tackles. With Gus offense you have to be able to stretch the field in all directions. When you get inside the ten the field is already short vertically and Gus has not developed a good package for FB/TE in redzone off play action.

They only have 4 plays. Why can't they run them.

Our offense is built to pick up yards in space and Gus has refused to change his play calling once the space runs out

I think we are just cursed this year. This sums one red zone possession:
First down on about the Moo State 3 yard line. Running back would have scored if he cut right, but he was tackled at the one after cutting left.
Get stoned on 2nd down for no gain
Snap the ball over the quarterback's head on 3rd down
Miss a field goal from about the same distance as an extra point on fourth down
