I'm psyched as well. I wonder how well they'll be able to tie it in with the original storyline, but the previews I've seen had both Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill in them, so I guess that's a good sign.
And the new battlefront game looks incredible.

I think the new sith is vader's apprentice. I know its set 30 years after #6 though. I like the new game modes in battlefront, the survival looks the best to me!

quote:FWIW, the new villian (Kylo Ren) isn't Sith. It's been speculated that he's collecting objects that belonged to Vader...I'm sure Stacked will drop some knowledge in here shortly

I'm psyched for this movie and the game. The only problem with the game is that they are cutting out the Clone Wars segment. Which wouldn't be a big deal if the Clone Wars wasn't involved with half the movies...

Dang it! It would be cool if it was Kylo vs Jedi vs Sith. I just hope the Sith aren't extinct, they're the ultimate villains.

I'm extremely excited for it and the game the only thing I don't like is that this will be the 1st Star Wars that I can't root for Anakin Skywalker in

I feel you, Darth Vader was the best.

I am excited to watch it but the hype for this is absurd. No way it lives up to it.

Vader didn't have an apprentice. I don't believe that's how the sith works.

I've heard before that he had a "secret apprentice" but its not proven. I could see it because the sith don't care about honor and after luke denying him in episode 5 Vader might have looked for another to be his apprentice so he could overthrow the emperor.

The Sith followed the rule of 2. I think the way that worked was that there could only be a master and an apprentice, and in order for the apprentice to become a master, he had to kill his master and then take on an apprentice.

Here's some more info on Kylo Ren, the new villain.

I've been rewatching all the Star Wars a lot here lately. Since the first trailer got back, I was in full-on nerd mode again.
Still wish the Clone Wars was put into movies and Anakin turning to the dark side was better.

Yep and the Empire isn't the Empire. Called "The First Order" now.

I read that too, the first order took over the leaderless empire. The first order resembles what the escaped Nazis would have done after ww2 if they united.

So I want to go through the whole series with my 9-year old. Do I show them in order, or in order they came out?

Skip Phantom of the Menace and go from there. As good as the sequels are, I hate watching Revenge of the Sith and then A New Hope because the drop off in lightsaber battles.

I just watched them in order starting with revenge of he sith. I think the story goes better that way but #1 is kinda boring to me, so its a milestone I have to get over.
