Does another 5 loss season put Gus on hot seat

This isn't a troll attempt but his teams seem to be heading in the wrong direction. He had the magical 2013 season where his team went 12-2. But then his highly-regarded squad followed that season up with a 5 loss 2014 season. If this season doesn't turn around and Auburn continues to play as poorly as it has so far this season, does his seat start to get a little warm (let's say he has another 5+ loss season)? Or does the QB change buy him a little leniency?

It's like I've seen this thread before...

Gus is much like Les, but hasn't been able to sustain the level of success with his predecessors players like Miles has

Is this even a question?

SECr is obsessed with Auburn.

Texag13 with the shiny hook.

I would think the answer would be a resounding 'yes' but Auburn seems to be more supportive of Gus than other programs are with their coaches.

if they don't pull it together and beat MS State, they could be looking at 6 losses potentially
the melt from AU fans would be pretty hard
I don't think it will happen though
I think that Aubbie pulls out the W this weekend

People were asking the same questions about Lesticles last year and all offseason. Gus still has nine games remaining this year to put a stop to those questions.
Auburn has talent. It's not like they're incapable from a talent standpoint of exhibiting a turnaround similar to LSU's from 2014.
LSU was awful the first two conference games of last year, but by midseason was competing against the conference's best, beating an undefeated Ole Miss team and Chavising away a game against the conference champion.
Lets wait a few more weeks to see how much of the beating last Saturday was Auburn being bad as opposed to LSU being really good. We should know more in a few days...

Maybe the rest of the SEC should figure out how to get their players eligible for 13 and 14 years. Dinardo's players have made the careers of two of his successors.

LSU is good, but come on anyone who watched that game knows Auburn's ineptness on offense was not all LSU talent. You only had to go back one week to know that.

Because Les didn't have any of his players when he ran the table and went 13-0 in the SEC in one of the conferences most competitive years in recent memory.
Right.

LSU finally has an attacking defense and have settled on their quarterback. If they had been able to "tune up" against McNeese State they would have blown MSU out of their own stadium. As far as AU the jury is out on them.
At least they did not lose to Ole Miss on their home turf.

Stupid luck kept them from 3 losses in their NC run

They put themselves in position for the luck to matter.

You're stupid.
If you want the real answer, 7-5 would be welcome by some, especially if that includes improvement. 7-5 with a competitive team at the end of the year would have Gus only with a mildly warm seat. But even if it is 5-7, he's not going to feel that much pressure.
