Kelly has been a nice upgrade to our offense. Loved Bo and what he did for Ole Miss, but it is nice to finally lose a QB and upgrade the position.

I know they've only played 2 games, but LSU is 3rd to last in the country in passing yards - ahead of two triple option teams - yet they've received a first place vote in the AP poll.

I'm not sure if that is the scariest or saddest thing I've ever seen.

Brandon Harris leads all SEC quarterbacks in rushing yards, despite playing one less game than everyone else.

Obviously, that is a key stat you left out.

QB Rating
1. Kelly 205.7
2. K Allen 169.4
3. B Allen 168.2
4. Prescott 148.1
5. Coker 124.2
6. Johnson 121.2
7. Harris 117.7

Let's take a look at the teams here and which ones have won National Championships in recent memory. Maybe some of these pass happy teams should realize that CFB isn't the NFL.

Can't take a sack if you never drop back to pass. That Les Miles is an idiot savant.

Agree, so far he looks like the best QB in the conference

Are you trying to discredit total QBR?

I think 145 total passing yards and less than 7 yards a reception does that for me....

Have you watched any LSU games? We aren't trying to pass. We are running it as much as a triple option team would.

We've dropped back to pass over 35 times.

Harris has been sacked once.

ETA: nb4 "hahahaha you think 35 is a lot!"

Marshall attempted 17 passes a game in Auburn's 2013 SEC championship season. You of all people should know that a QB's rushing ability is extremely important to his overall productivity.

So you are trying to discredit a much better metric because it upsets you. I see.

Harris has also played in 33% less games than the rest of those QBs, and 100% less cupcakes.

What percentage of Harris' completions come from the jet sweep?

Way too early to be drawing conclusions on which QB is better.

Jeremy Johnson over Brandon Harris is a freakin joke.
