Analysis: How Do You Stop the LSU Running Game?

Serious question. How do you stop
It?
Fournette, Williams, and Guice. They just keep coming. Oh, and now Harris running the ball.
Load 10 in the box?
Harris will begin throwing more consistently downfield. He is capable. He showed that in spurts last year. Play action over the top to the talented WR corps.
So, how do you stop it? Can Alabama? Ole Miss?
Thoughts?

Y'all are unstoppable. Just like every season after 2 games.

Not many can stop it. Bama and Ole Miss might give us fits but I dont see them stopping our offense. Our O-Line is also very good too so that helps a lot.

They are great. Try to contain them as much as possible and out score LSU.

Gotta have big, athletic bodies in the front 7 and you will probably need to have a lot of them to hold up to the pounding over an entire game. Play man coverage on the edges and you are going to have to gang tackle and swarm #7, especially late in the game. Make Harris prove he can beat you, which he hasn't done yet but will have to do at some point this season.

Seriously, you just beat the equivalent of Vanderbilt in the West. WTF is this premature ejaculatjon from LSU fans? You beat a fricking team that the Jacksonville State Gamecocks took to 2 overtimes.

Look, jerk, I asked HOW. If you know, say it. Your blathering on and on only shows your ignorance. Either answer the question or move on.
Unreal.

Did you actually watch your QB yesterday. When he threw down field he lead receivers into devastating hits or completely missed his mark to the point they should have been picked off had you played a half way decent defense. He is okay on WR screens and shuttle passes but that is it. He isn't reading defenses and he doesn't progress....he is just plain BAD!

Thank you. Good answer. You can actually have a football discussion unlike those that normally post here.
That was exactly what I was looking for. An actual analysis.
OF COURSE LSU can be stopped. Every offense that I have ever seen other than 1995 Nebraska can be stopped. I was just wondering how the running game could be stopped.
Good answer. Thanks.

Well now you've just hurt my feelings

He is not bad. You don't know what you are looking at.
Plus, I asked about the running game, not the passing game. You are so quick to be critical of LSU that you can't even understand my question.
You aren't objective.
Btw, Harris led exactly ONE receiver into a bad hit and overthrew ONE receiver in the end zone. He had 5 incompletions. One was a drop. None of them were close to being intercepted.

Harris got nowhere close to throwing an INT but it's okay you can keep making things up.

Huh excuse me? When he completely whiffed on the pass to the WR (might have been Dural) in the end zone the Safety was completely out of place (as was most of the defense throughout the day especially the LBers).
But hey completely ignore the rest of the statement. It's not as though you have a lot to look at since he has thrown less than 30 passes thus far and 1/3 or more are shuttle passes and WR screens. As for stopping the Buga Train....I would use a modified 46 defense and rotate the shite out of the DL & LBer early. To do that all you have to do is have DBs that can play press coverage and have an ability to pressure your QB when he finally is forced to run (oh by the way if this happens do you think your OL will be able to hold off a pass rush....I don't because you haven't faced a good D yet).
