I stopped reading his post after one sentence.

Newsflash, guy: The same kids apply to both universities--and most get into both.
They then make their ultimate enrollment decisions based on academic program area, family pressure, cultural issues, scholarship awards, and sometimes just to be contrary towards their Aggie or horn family (whatever the case may be).

We don't sit around campfires, holding clandestine, angry meetings about it.
Both schools are fine institutions of higher education, and everyone within the state is aware of that.
This manufactured divide you're fabricating only works with folks who don't actually have a clue.
And in all fairness, there are a bunch of those types on this site.
