Any updates on Lawson and company? Just think its impossible to go from crutches to playing in Death Valley in one week.....

It looks like Trey and Garrett will be back. Hosley is possibly out for the entire season, though there is some hope that isn't true. Young will likely be back which returns two other players to their normal positions on offense.

Lawson has an injury with a recovery time of 1-4 weeks. I would say it is at best 50/50.

We'll somehow find a way to have more before the game.*

*injuries, not updates.

It seems like the other poster said, Avery will probably be back.

We will not really know anything about the others until Friday most likely. Coaches will say it is day to day, but it does not appear good for Lawson and esp for Holsey.

I am not sure what others have heard about Matthews, but I think he is at least possible for the game.

And I have no clue what the F___ is going on with Robinson.

Thanks for the update. Hate not playing each other at full strength.

Yea, but that is part of the game.

Champ said preseason we were dangerously thin on defense. We actually had 5 of our starting 11 out of the game during the 2nd half of JSU. In OT we had 4 true freshman playing defense.

On Offense it is less grim if Young returns. We have guys playing out of position when he is out so his one injury screws things up. We can afford an injury at Center or Guard but tackle is thin for us.

Robinson is a more recruiting hopefulness than actual on the field production we know we lost. It is hard to imagine he would run much better than PB.

We really have no fricking idea, we are guessing, we are unlikely to have any fricking idea this week, and we are fricking pissed about the entire situation.

Does the player that got ejected for targeting In the JSU game have to sit out the first half of the LSU game?

No, rule states he can play. He missed 2nd half of JSU. With the loss of Hosley he makes one of 2 corners that aren't true freshman. Though a couple of the true freshman have played well albeit while making a few true freshman type mistakes.

That would be Countess I think. He should be back, he got ejected in the first half if I remember correctly.

All will be back with the exception of Hosley. Lawson could have played Sat, but they kept him out so he would be ready for LSU.

Because they are pussies and they do not trust Gus's track record on injury reporting. Most of the injuries were not serious enough not to play against JSU, they just thought the JSU Game would be a cakewalk. Most if not all practiced last week.

Yea, but while we might not advertise it as much as you, we're no strangers to claiming the sky is falling.

Also, no one really knows. Just depends how you read the tea leaves.

I guess I'm a pussy for assuming that Lawson isn't going to play full strength less than a week after being on crutches
