Just curious. Hope all returned happy and no speeding tickets.

Well I got that speeding ticket on the way, but I am a lead foot and I have been deserving one for awhile. It was only for 100 bucks anyway.

We enjoyed our trip. We stayed in Hardy, AR at some reasonably priced hotel and it turned out to be fine for the price. The tailgating in Jonesboro began around noon and we set up our tailgate on the corner of Red Wolf and Aggie. Being so visible attracted other Mizzou faithful and there ended being a row of Mizzou canopies. Some of the people tailgating with us were family members of the players. It was a good post game tailgate and we watched the ends of the Oregon/Mich st and LSU/MSU games before we left.

The walk to the stadium was not bad at all. The stadium was small which was not a surprise, but they have apparently just completed some renovations that include a new press box. It looks pretty sharp.

I got a fantastic signal on my phone inside their stadium (not wifi). To the point that I was able to stream the OU/TENN game on the espn app. The biggest shocker is that I have tmobile and it worked so well, crazy.

I was surprised at the size of the crowd. I figured they would sell out for this game but they were not even close to a sellout. There were a LOT of empty seats. The stadium video board and sound were really good considering that we were in a Sun Belt stadium.

I will say this, our fans were terrible. This was without question the worst road crowd I have ever been with. The Mizzou sections were quiet most of the game and had trouble getting loud at all until the game was basically in hand. I know this is personal opinion, but I feel like all fans should at least get up on 3rd down and get loud for the defense, especially on the road. Maybe this location brought out Mizzou fans that don't go to many games? I don't know, but it was pathetic.

The few Arky state fans we talked with were very nice, although I heard someone on here had their car spit on or something. But overall it was a great time. We made it back to KC a few hours ago and everything was smooth sailing.

I wish every Mizzou fan would go to a few games at Arrowhead Stadium and take notes on what it means to be a football fan. Except for some big, close games, our fans are pretty meh.

Stayed in Memphis...outstanding.

My prior posts:
"I really enjoyed that "Arkansas hospitality". After the game my car (a nice one) had spit on the windshield and right side. My tiger tail was stolen. Low life on display in the "Un-natural State"."

"That was a nightmare too. I paid $20 driving-in near the Convocation Center. Well, all the $20 lots were OVER SOLD. What a mess trying to turn that line around.

So, I started driving SLOW-LY towards the stadium. Asking flag people along the way what to do. Nobody could or would help. Finally, an attendant just said "find a space in here". It was RED Lot (grass) which adjoins White Lot right by the stadium. Pulled in after some nice ASU tailgaters said sure. They were not the problem. It took me almost an HOUR to park at a game with 29K attendance. Then they stole and spit. Just low-lives."

Going to Fayetteville, but not in my nice car.

Well, if they show-up...they think that's good enough.

I've had problems with Mizzou fans for years. They are quiet and timid. They don't know when to yell, when they do. They don't coordinate with the cheerleaders. It always peaks at the bowl game. They just sit there. Most guys that I set near know football, but are not loud.

In this regard, Mizzou is not SEC ready.

Wasn't sure where to put this, but I found it funny to see Mizzou and the Chiefs win by identical 27-20 scores this weekend.

Both games had significantly different storylines of course, but the perception of each winning side is so different.

I can take it. I grew-up in the bootheel and we played some ball in NE-AR. Piggott and Paragould for example. West TN too. I know what I'm dealing with down there. Back then, it was the cheating no-good refs that drove me crazy. We saw just a little of the "homer" refs in the A-State game, I expected more. I think video keeps them a little honest these days. In H.S. ball it's out-of-control. I know what it's like to quickly get on the bus and get out of town with equipment still on because of the crowd.

Well the first step is admitting the problem right?

Well, I'm a bit embarrassed. I got really drunk at Skinny Js and then when I got to the stadium they wouldn't let me in because I was so drunk and was yelling at ASU fans. I called one guy a "brother fricking fig" and I'm pretty sure he would have destroyed me if his friends hadn't stopped him. I made it back to SKinny Js to watch the game, but they wouldn't serve me so I made it over to Buffalo Wild Wings. Turns out, the game wasn't on TV and when they brought me the wrong order I threw a wing at the bartender so they threw me out of there. Somehow, I made it back to my hotel and passed out by the pool. Yesterday was a long drive home.

I got a speeding ticket just outside of Jonesboro after drinking a 750 of Jack on the way, so thankfully I just got a speeding ticket. Pounded 2 containers of tic tacs when I saw the cop lights.

I arrived at the hotel and took a power nap in the lobby as I couldn't make it to the front desk. Then went to my room and fell asleep. Slept through the game, then drove home. I have some things to evaluate in my life.

You dudes sound more like Longhorn or Jayhawk fans! Are you sure that you are Mizzou fans?

Sounds similar to my trip to Atlanta last year. Didn't get kicked out, but boy was I a beautiful disaster.
