When will the SEC actually punish State for Cowbell violations?

Isn't the status quo a measly $25,000 fine? I know that's a lot to poor athletic departments like Mississippi State but the fans don't care about fines.
The SEC should start penalizing the team 15 yards unsportsmanlike conduct for cowbell ringing after the ball is set.

I assumed that because its a small stadium and they are traditional bottom dwellers that the conference let it slide.

I don't care what kind of special caveat they made for your noisemakers. If that doesn't fit the common meaning of the term and purpose of the rule, then the rule itself has no meaning.

I don't care what you think. SEC says it's legal. You mad. We Grindin.

Does LSU have a band or speakers? Don't see how that's any different.

I'm not arguing they shouldn't be allowed (though I believe they should not). I'm arguing that fans would do a better job of abiding by the rules if the team actually suffered by violations.
Announce a warning the first time. 15 yard penalty second time.

Is 'Grindin' slang for cutting grass? I assume it must with the regularity State fans use the word.

It's fricking stupid that this is even a topic of discussion. State has a tradition, and hell, I think it's a good one. When you go to Davis Wade Stadium be expecting cow bells. That's how it is and that's how it should stay. And anyone who doesn't like it can GTFO!

When were you last in DWS? We do a pretty damn good job of abiding the rules. It's pretty impressive how much better it's gotten in the last few years.

Ding ding ding (cowbell-like)
We have a winner.
It's like picking on a retarded or handicapped kid.
Let MSU have their cowbells with the floor-model jumbotron in a single-wide stadium.

The Grind is strong with this one.
