I was thinking the same thing.

I don't think they will pressure Swag since they aren't able to get after Cinni's QBs. Plus I would think we should be able to average +5 yards a carry.

On the flip side I don't think that 6'7 QB for Memphis will have a nice clean pocket to pass from so I'd expect a couple of interceptions.

McElwain looking for signature win; won't get it from Tenn, UGA, or FSU.

But he sure won't get it from us either. HYDR

Is this our last meeting with them for a while, or do we have another next year?

I'm really worried that Memphis is going to play dirty and try to hurt our players and I'm not kidding.

The only thing that worries me about Memphis is getting my car stolen.

All those SP and OB kids will play with a huge chips on their shoulders for not getting offers...thus they'll take some cheap shots (if last night was any indication, lots of cheap shots).

They've given up over 1000 yards passing their last two games

Have they announced what time that game will be played?

Paxton Lynch is a really good QB. I don't care what anyone says.

Is my main concern. Why continue playing them, even if we can comfortably beat them, they are out for blood.

For some reason all week I've felt like today isn't going to be a good offensive day. Hopefully I'm wrong.

depends on your expectations....They have a pretty good defense and they willl go conservative on offense to shorten the game. We may not score as much as folks expect. I hate to say it....but we are banged up also.

Now I think we win....but this spread on the game is out of line. If we hope to even come close to it is to jump on them early....and change their game plan.

By chanting this on national TV they just said a giant "fricking you" to USF, who they play next week. Also noticed they have a bye week before playing us, how convenient.

We aren't going to score 70+ points, but I think we cover. Vandy lost to WKU for fricks sake. I see it being
38-7 or something like that

Vandy's defense is overrated.

I agree. And their offense is the equivalent to a snail crawling through a salt shaker. I think we go up big at the half and Hugh goes conservative with a lot of the backups in in the early fourth quarter.

ETA: Vandy's defense hasn't forced a turnover yet all season. If they stop us, it'll be forcing us to punt. I just don't think a team like Vandy is going to be able to stop up our offense from at least getting into field goal range more than a couple of times
