#OleMiss HAS heard from the NCAA re: Laremy Tunsil's eligibility. Expected to make an announcement early this next week via @LauraMRutledge.

To clarify what was reported by SEC Network, we do not have an answer from NCAA on Tunsil but are hopeful to have more information next week

Who cares when he comes back? We suck. If he was smart, he'd go ahead and start preparing for the draft.

I just want it resolved. We really need him but I'd understand if he just wants to get ready for the NFL. I don't want all of this uncertainty to affect future crootin.

We were told 2.5 weeks ago this would resolve by this week. The indication was conclusion. That is why the assumption was that he would play this week. The NCAA could be just big fat liars... Which could happen. If this is not resolved this week then that is exactly what they are.

Let me further say.... If it does not resolve this week, you can start to worry much much deeper than just Tunsil. Jmo

The good news (spin) is that if this is IT, and we lose our best player for half a season, 3/4 of a season, or even a full season....then we probably consider that a good trade.

You could be correct.. That's speculation. What we know is that Ole Miss has zero friends in NCAA and a step dad that has every intention of destroying his step son. It's a very bad combination. We (ole miss) were told that this situation would ruled on by this week. Our people are confident they have nothing wrong and what Tunsil is being investigated for (that we know of) is not that big. Others have done much worse and received less. NCAA has purposefully dragged feet (no friends). If you get anything other than he is good to go this week... Then you can officially start to worry.

I have a relative on the Board at OM

What I have said is not speculation.

Reasonable punishment is reasonable.

We need to put this behind us. If we can play Tunsil this year, that's a great outcome.

The stepfather thing is meaningless.

NO ONE KNOWS! Speculation leads to rumor and false hope of the demise of Ole Miss!

He's playing against aTm... That's been leaked.. Only question is whether or not he dresses out against Memphis .

I hope he does. As good as he is, any player would have rust. Not sure how beneficial it would be for him to come back and get destroyed by Garrett a already tough matchup because he is extremely rusty.

If Tunsil is freed this week. He should play against Memphis.

He needs some playing time before the aTm game.

Tunsil has only missed one fall workout. He's still with the team everyday. He will have to adjust to real time game play. But odds are the #1 OT gonna come to play.

Just because you don't know, doesn't mean plenty of other people don't know.

Punishment is proportional to perception.
