Both have had very similar stats thus far. Robert was the #1 recruit in the nation and was considered a polished player coming out of high school, and Jones was raw and had only played 1 and a half seasons of football in his life. If either one has an explosive season they will be a 1st round pick. Who do you think has the better season?

Stats for the two:

Chris Jones
Tackles 58, TFL 10.5, Sacks 6, Pass Breakups 5, Qb Hurries 18

Robert Nkemdiche
Tackles 69 (a very nice number), TFL 12, Sacks 4, Pass Breakups 3, Qb Hurries 3

Jones was the #2 player in the country per 247. Don't omit that.

Perhaps for Jones. Nkemdechie could sit out the entire season and still be a 1st round pick.

Has Jones even started a game at State?

And Jones was #2. Talk about overrated.

Honestly I hope Jones has a better season so he can regret for the rest of his life that he didn't play alongside Bobby Nkemdiche on a Playoff Contending team as opposed to playing for Daniel Muffin and trying to avoid the SEC West Cellar. Booooooooooom
