Asu's scheme is only blitz and stunts. They blitz from everywhere relentlessly. The only relevant thing I read in the scout thread was the scheme is a risk management nightmare.
Well, if you're saying that ASU blitzes like crazy from the opening of camp, that might explain some of the problems. But the devils still don't have a half season to figure things out. They've got Myles Garrett in the first game of the season.

They will test you inside. They have the best center in the Pac and good guards. There is a lot to like about Richards. Shut that down and it's over.

ASU is missing 2 players from last year's entire defensive depth chart. The defense was for the most part installed by Day 3 of camp. Many of the sacks and stops are on the 2nd team offense, which unlike the second defense has next to no experience on the OL. Pass protection might be a problem, but it's not surprising that there are a lot of plays in the backfield right now.
The major concern is that they've struggled to develop a true nosetackle. They had a freshman AA a few years ago who's basically not with the team and the other one that has, when available, been effective against power run teams is at 390 pounds and approaching unplayable against a no huddle. Instead they've got several 290 pound ends that they're just shuffling inside since they've done well developing that position. The DL will be a bit light up the middle, but fast.
