We are more talented across the board, but they are more experienced. Word out of their practices are that their offensive and defensive lines are somewhere between bad and awful, and you cant win games like that.

They will struggle to stop us and to protect Bercovici.

Best opener for an SEC team for sure.

Chavis has the scheme to stop that kind of attack, but it depends on the strength of the interior linemen to stop the inside run on their own and the ability of the DEs to stay home and force the QB to make plays from the pocket with 5-6 DBs playing coverage.

It worked to perfection against Oregon in 2011 and against the Manziel Aggie teams. But last year the DLine was exposed early and Auburn was able to gash LSU up the middle and Prescott had a field day.

Few Coordinators can stop the spread like Chavis when he has good to great DLinemen

PAC 12 is the toughest division bruh. You even know what you're talking about?

Assuming you're actually from the South and just a transplant, you know for a fact this statement isn't true.

PAC 12 south baw. Any decent team should have 10 wins

That's handy, 'cause the Pac-12 South in 2014 was:

#19 Arizona: 10-4
#10 UCLA: 10-3
#12 Arizona State: 10-3
#20 USC: 9-4
#21 Utah: 9-4
Colorado: 2-10

The P12 South made a HUGE push at the end of the year to prove that they were as good as the SEC West.

Your argument really could have done without calling Texas A&M a "power run" team. All that said, good luck. ASU will most likely be an extremely tough team. I'm glad we play Texas Tech and not them, that's for damn sure.

PAC 12 South is the toughest division of the PAC is what I meant to say. You're still wrong thinking they're a joke.

I watched the replay of ASU vs USC from last year.

Bercovici is a good QB, and they have other weapons on offense that need to fill in for the departed WR Strong.

I think ASU comes into the game with a lot of con524475fidence. They will be ranked top 20 to start the season. They are a quality opponent.

the whole "sec west v pac12 south" angle makes it even more interesting.

i hate picking the first week of football season, but ima go with a&m to cover. mainly because of chavis' track record, a&m's depth now at dline and a&m's oline.

I'm sure this was a sick burn in your mind. And Carson is legit as they come. Nonetheless, Texas A&M's offensive identity is not that of a "power run" team.

I see you're implying that you're somehow different in this aspect. Yeah, TAMU is a real authority on stopping a real power team, with that purely theoretical defense and all. And just to circumvent your predictable response: I'm aware you beat a fledgling Arkansas in OT. That doesn't exactly prove anything in this context.

Ok. I never said they were a joke, just not as tough as the sec west. They have arguably the most parity of everyone outside of us, but the best teams from every other P5 division minus the ACC would demolish their best teams. They're all basically well above average.

Why is it called "parity" for the PAC 12 but a meat grinder in the SEC? SEC West bombed in the post season last year and were overrated all season long.

The word you were searching for : inherent

Agreed, and I'm eager for aTm to prove it. The Pac 12 south is the only other division that's as deep as the West. Their top-end teams just aren't quite as good. I guess I'm not as quick to discount them as you are.

'15 is a new day. We'll see if their success is mostly a fluke.

Never said we were a power run team. But we have power run packages for our power runner, and an offensive line that's capable of it. What part of that is so hard to grasp?

Because with the unreal strength you have in QB and WR, that's a strange and small part of your offense to be bragging about. I expect awesome things from Allen and Murray, and your WR corp isn't going to miss a beat. I'm not saying Carson won't play a role and be a weapon, but I don't see him being the reason you win this game, IF you win this game.

Can we please have one thread on the rant without the Big Twatever has-beens showing up to obsess about Daddy?

You're not worthy of the SEC, sooner. We destroyed your sister-fricking program and have you in a perpetual state of marginalization. You are stuck in a shitty conference with your toothless mouths firmly attached to Bevo's nutless cock, and we are not bailing your mullet-wearing assess out. Go troll another forum.
