That was a cool deal. If Sherrill had been there longer, aTm might have gotten real cheerleaders
What are those?

Dear Lord, this isn't about Bo Jackson and what he did against Alabama. You gumps make everything about yourselves.

I think the term of the fans being the 12th man started over in Europe in the early days of soccer. But even then it was rarely used, because it was so gay.... even for soccer.

Jackie Sherrill was the greatest special teams coach in college football. It was a priority for him. Even at State we always had great special teams.

True, and it takes a great coach to turn a bunch of 180 lbs. walk-ons in to a top 5 unit, 5 years in a row. The power of the 12th Man is special though. No student body is willing to sacrifice for their team like the one at Texas A&M.

The bonfire was on my to do list of things to see, and had plans to be there the year after the one collapsed. Had a few friends that graduated from school there.
There's an off-campus version of Bonfire these days that has really grown in popularity and respect. Much safer than the kind that collapsed, too. Definitely recommend checking out if you're ever in Aggieland around Thanksgiving

I need to make it a point to do this at some point. I've never been.

My parents' house used to be right around the corner from where they had burn, but I haven't been myself, either. Thinking about going this year, though.

And how did you Aggies enjoy PROBATION after Sherri left?

I grew up and live near College Station. Are you sure your not Luicci or Louie Belina?
