If sophomore quarterback Brandon Harris wins the starting quarterback job at LSU, and he’s ahead right now, then it’s the opinion here that the Tigers’ 2015 season takes on another trajectory.

There is little doubt that LSU, top-to-bottom, has one of the top rosters in the country. On offense, the Tigers are talented and deep at wide receiver and running back and once again have a formidable offensive line.

...

This means LSU goes from being average as a bowl of grits (with one tab of butter, no additional toppings) at quarterback to having a gifted, athletic playmaker under center with a strong arm.

...

Harris isn’t just a game-changer, he’s a season-changer and as long as he can win the job, it’s going to be a different type of deal in Baton Rouge this season.

By all accounts, Harris appears to have won the job, although Lesticles hasn't yet made it official.

Slightly Germans but hasn't been posted here that I'm aware of...

He won't. Your coach is Les.

I hope so. I really need LSU to whip up on Florida this year.

This seems like a contradiction in logic. So even though Harris is struggling to beat a horrible QB for the starting position, we are to assume that if Harris wins the job, Harris will be a great QB and save LSU's season? That's like breaking up with an ugly girlfriend so you can date a different ugly girl. Just because she is new does not make her better.

The only way this article makes sense is if we acknowledge that Miles is incompetent and is intentionally starting a QB with less ability than his backup.

If he beats out the terrible guy, they will be great!

So, he's good enough to be a season changer, but not good enough to be clearly better than Anthony Jennings. Yeah, that makes sense.

Harris won the job last year, then was injured in his first start.

So, if Harris beats out Jennings, we should all be worried... Despite the fact that it's a question in the first place? Alright.

LSU fans are in desperation mode at this point. Brandon Harris is to LSU fans what Jimmy Johns was to Alabama fans in 2006.

Well, he was better than Jennings by a wide enough margin to win the job as a true freshman, so...

For all the tards in h this thread pretending it wasn't an injury that kept Harris out last year:

DWI

ETA: For a team that's won 4 straight, there seems to be a LOT of Gump fear this year concerning LSU...

And Alabama beat LSU with John Sarah Jessica Parker Wilson and Greg McElroy.

Harris does not fit well in LSUs Offense. It is one of the problems when you have a former NFL Coordinator controlling the Offense.

So, if LSU has a QB marginally better than Anthony Jennings, a "whole new trajectory" gets taken on? How do you swamp kittens believe this? How does that make any sense?

Ok buddy. Keep telling yourself that the only reason Harris was not starting over Jennings last year was an injury. I seem to remember it being because in his chance to shine he lost 41-7 to Auburn.
