If you believe analysts like Greg McElroy, Mauk's problems are connected to piss poor footwork.
I've also heard his dad still has Maty's ear on quarterbacking. If true, I don't see things changing.

How many of Mauks passes were dropped. He may improve a lot and not show in statistics due to a green group of WRs.
Would be interesting to see a breakdown of how each QB did with each offense & what defense he was throwing against.
